Regarding our vote against the MENA deal yesterday, legally had to be done as further down the line this vote might be used against us in court. Hence I’m not reading too much into this, it was the logical next step.

I’m not a huge fan of excuses generally but this one is force majeure, a lot of players have taken a knock to their aerobic fitness as a result of the virus and may now struggle with the run of games coming up. I fully expect us to be shit this week and it’s for a valid reason. It makes the WBA win an extreme blessing.

He is one of a small group of players I’d want to see stay at club as a squad player with any ambitious takeover. The others being Wilson, ASM, Longstaffs, Schar and Dubravka. Perhaps Lewis and Fraser too but jury is out there.
