  1. Slower than Dummett FYI Would think Martins was faster. Recall at the time of signing we were told Martins could do 100m in under 11 seconds but never saw that level of pace on the pitch it was a weird one
  2. James

    Joe Willock

The obvious lineup is: ASM Wilson Fraser Almiron Willock Hayden

    Joe Willock

Nah they can both be on the pitch together

    Joe Willock

I’m quite excited I think it’s a last minute change of transfer plans to fit the new formation. Should hopefully help us finish the season well
  5. We don’t have to register Willock so imagine Atsu will get Yedlin’s squad place
  6. James

    Graeme Jones

Didn’t realise the close-ish connection between Jones and Kinnear

    Graeme Jones

Any really good manager will want lots of coaches and I’m sure will assess existing coaches fairly. Jones would only be moved on if he has nothing to contribute when all other coaching appointments are made.
  8. All new posters you think are old posters? I’d add Candi to that list as well although my initial perception is that she is just a well behaved ex poster that for whatever reason wants to remain anonymous.
  9. Judge Holden was blatantly invicta toon he’s been doing this for years since his permaban, appears out of nowhere, posts quite a lot to raise a profile and gets slightly more of a wum over time. Once he starts thinking like he’s about to be found out he will delete his account and emerge again at some point in the future as another initial innocuous but frequent posting new member. Too early to say but that new poster Abra Dubravka fits this pattern
  10. Perhaps this is why Bruce kept harping on recently about how he would never quit. Wonder if that was a message to MA. By my reckoning this would be the first manager since Robson (who was honourably paid off in full) to have not had a negotiated exit
  11. Jones also referred to Rafa’s balance and control philosophy in the NUFC TV interview by the way
  12. Jones: ‘I’m here to give a neutral opinion’ Very interesting line that gently implies by that he is here to be in between two parties
  13. Up until now I thought that Colback - Anita was our worst ever CM partnership
  14. Also stated Steve Bruce has never lost against Leeds as manager Did he say anything about his record as a manager against Leeds? Said he never lost to a team playing at Elland Road as Manager
  15. Good thing we have another centre back on the bench...
  16. Think the argument that Charnley has sold Ashley is going to be that Bruce is great at managing defence but we need an offensive coach. Another I suppose without any of us seeing the ins and outs of the training ground could be that Clemence is still not yet fully over the death of his father and that an extra assistant is therefore needed to share the workload. Regardless it was always ridiculous that any manager was only allowed two coaches - it will be why the majority of the first ten candidates approached turned us down last time.
  17. Rafa selects coaches based on who’s available, what their CVS are like and whether he can work with them to improve his team. He wouldn’t sack Jones.
  18. This is boring. I'm not who you think I am. Just leave it now please. Then how would you know the reference? He's been on here long enough to know, just can't work out which former member he is. Not penn though. Agreed this guy replies and seems to be literally trying to burn individuals
  19. Definitely think now is the time to protest Bruce, initially I thought a cabbage dump at SJP but figured a bit insensitive with growing UK child poverty, definitely think there is the need for something physical and tangible though with the absence of fans at the stadium. The most obvious route to me would seem to be a mass emailing organised by NUST with a stock letter (adapted to show you aren’t a bot) to be sent to NUFC, PCP and the Shields Gazette (for independent verification) simultaneously explaining our relegation concerns. Once Ashley gets wind of fans contacting the consortium in huge numbers he will spook and sack Bruce in my opinion
  20. I thought I misheard that. Absolutely astonishing comment; we were every bit as bad tonight It’s the Sky agenda. They will create negativity over defensive managers, but if a bad manager is leading to lots of goals for the opposition they will happily back him as they know that goals equal £ for them.
  21. By the way Stifler just posted he hoped Bruce and the players all died in a plane crash so we can get a relegation reprieve before quickly deleting the post. I wanted to reply to say get a fucking grip.
