  1. Or at least a time we can laugh rather than kicking Kurt zoumas cat.
  2. Dodgy toe. Unconfirmed if he Dave Beasant'd it or not. Touch and go for tomorrow but they won't risk it if it risks long term injury.
  3. Sure he will use the 3 months wisely. Just a lot of time catching up with his new friends over Microsoft Teams, maybe a few phone calls, dinners "to catch up". Bit of tidying up his desktop, organizing of files etc.
  4. Looking like it will be an unchanged line up from Leeds bar Targett in for Dummett. He won't risk Burn unless the toe injury is completely healed. Hopefully he throws Bruno in as well.
  5. Has Warnock said he would take it? Seems like the most sensible option. So return of Di Canio incoming.
  6. Miggy playing behind the striker with Bruno feeding passes for him to run unto is what MLS version of Miggy was made for. The version we have seen mostly, schlepped around the pitch in every position other than his best, I am not sure if that player we bought is still there. The fact he wasn't moved out this window and that Howe is usually all over him (see after the Leeds game) tells me Howe does rate him still.
  7. Think it's 50/50. Can definitely see Howe starting him on the bench and playing the same 3 as Leeds, bringing him on in the 2nd half. Hope not though.
  8. Gotcha. What's the point in it then? It says he will hand over all duties this week, so he is done from a Brighton perspective. They just want to inconvenience to us by having him unable to start for 3 months? Or just some sort of standard practice for these type of positions? Flooding back, wasn't it similar with Overmars when we were linked before Christmas?
  9. Test will be next season for Potter and Brighton. I'm not convinced yet. He is definitely a good dude though.
  10. Absolutely love this potential appointment. Gardening leave thing is a bit weird though? Assuming he wants time to mentally refresh, get himself/family moved up north etc. We need someone starting 3 months ago rather than in the summer though. Assume he will be starting at least mentally before May?

    Mitchel Bakker

Not sure we were actually convinced with Bakker. Seemed from all reports the deal was there to do but we stalled and tried for Gosens, went back but then ended up jumping on Targett when he came available. Probably preferring the PL experience for now at least. Bakker looks decent, tall but quick and strong. Decievingly good dribble on him too.
  12. Can de-registered players not play with the reserves? Clark has never really come across as a cunt to me. Silly mistakes on the pitch but always seems professional. Think he would be fine helping the kids through when playing for the reserves.
  13. Bloody marvelous result. Didn't like Everton cruising today but hopefully they are overconfident and take us too lightly on Tuesday. The fresh VDB and Alli will be potential needle movers for their confidence.

    Isaac Hayden

Second half of the 18/19 season especially, he was one of our best players imo. Was ok for the first half of the next season and like everyone under Bruce regressed soon after.

    Isaac Hayden

Has always seemed like a great guy. He just regressed since re-signing a long term contract, injuries are mostly to blame but when we needed leaders this since the likes of Issac and Jamal didn't step up. He was immense for us not that long ago, had a great stint as emergency cover at CB, RB and looked excellent under Rafa in CM. Bittersweet though, if we stay in the league, he will more than likely have played his last game for us. Wish him all the best and hope he gets fit to be able to train with the lads and still contribute this season, even from the outside.

    Jesse Lingard

Nah, it's gone. If we stay up we can do better in the summer. If we go down he won't be interested. Too late to register him now.
  17. He was a solid player for where we were at when we signed him, just should have been properly replaced earlier. Arguably he was with Lejeune. Some great goals but equally some terrible gaffes over the years. Good lad before he went full Colo the other week in that friendly. Take it he could still play in the reserves helping the bairns? Or is that for registered players only?
  18. If they go up and we go down lol Responsible for both a relegation and promotion at the same time?
  19. I'd be shocked it he started tbh. Howe will stick and give Bruno a week to settle. Should see him off the bench though.
  20. I like Lewis going out in Loan. He needs games to get his confidence back. He wouldn't get that here. I'd rather have him than Ritchie but at the same time, if he is to salvage any of that promise he needs to go out and get more games and experience. With Targett, dummett, Burn, Manq and Trippier we should have enough cover to not use Ritchie at LB
  21. Fede not back for another 3 weeks apparently. Could also factor in.
