Been given the time and space to do that. Still some lovely stuff the last 10-15 minutes. Just horrific in front of goal lol -

If we had an accurate final pass we could be dangerous. -

Well done Tonali. Great warm up for the weekend. Hope Osula comes on soon though. Not liking overplaying Isak too much. -
Giorgi Mamardashvili (now playing for Valencia, on loan from Liverpool)

I wouldn't worry, he will come here next summer without playing a game for Liverpool, in a PSR exchange for Gordon. -
We will likely bomb out to forest anyway but presume we would ask Guehi not to play for palace and cup tie himself tomorrow? If the move was likely?
-
Left winger predominantly isn't he? Not that I'd say no. He has played on the right. Just not sure he is what we need.
-
What a bizarre move. Better off keeping Madueke lol. Would be happy with either working with Eddie though.
-
Looked great today, showed the importance of having two quality players in each position. Don't begrudge him a move but only if we are upgrading and bringing another player of his quality in. That seems exceedingly unlikely.
-
Looks deflated and frustrated for sure. Hopefully the window slams with him still wearing a black and white shirt so we can all move on and he can get back to last seasons form. Feels like Liverpool are waiting for a massive bid this week. Some big money coming in only strengthens their hand.

Other than Isak and the subs, our players simply didn't fancy it today. Kept waiting for Joe to hit the button to take him off power saving mode. Props fo Krafth filling in again. We are bereft of creativity and we're well managed by a Bournemouth team that quite frankly weren't very good. Should have lots here today. Very lucky. While it's still a bit of preseason rust, two performances in and I don't recognize this team. Pope's kicking was rancid.

If Tripps goes surely we would be also looking at another young RB? I don't think Ashby is really part of the squad and Shahar is too young at the moment. I presume that would been finding a buyer for Ashby though. We could essentially get by until January with Tino, Krafth, Ashby and Murphy as full back options I guess. Famous last words.

Brentford agree £25m deal for Reds' Van den Berg https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c0jpq1evyjlo Not bad, almost a 24m profit for someone that has essentially never played for Liverpool. 271 minutes in the cups. 33 appearances for Mainz. 25 million is crazy. This is the kind of backdoor business we have been behind on for so long. We are playing catchup but deals like Minteh and Anderson are going to become the norm.

It's the Hope that kills... everytime.

Can he play RB? Asking for a friend.
-
Yeah, this one is likely nonsense lol. Don't even think Palace are falling for this one.
-
Think this one is toast with Andersen leaving. Cant see them selling both. Shame it felt right for us. Im sure our fallback option will be fine, whether that's now or January. Should see more money earmarked for RW, with a bit of luck.
-
Either way Tosin was a ridiculous buy for them. Think it's a case of him being a giant English, PL experienced club captain available for nothing and they jumped on him. A solid squad player for top 6 sides but not much more. Not the first English player to be overrated, not even an England regular. He is now in a squad with some of the highest rated prospects in Europe, albeit talent woefully mismanaged. No wonder he is finding himself near the back of the line. He simply isn't that good In comparison.
-
Would love him back at the club in some capacity. Glad he didn't end up getting the USMNT job. Would have been all kinds of inner turmoil lol. Bringing him back to present to the crowd for the home game against Liverpool would be neat.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

You aint seen nothing yet. Just wait til Billy Elliot knocks us out of the cup, starts tearing it up for Nottingham Forest and starts getting talked about for an England call... -
Looked out before he hit the ground but he certainly cracked the ground hard too.
-
Good idea. Could throw Fraser and Hayden at Palace too, should be enough to get the Guehi deal done.
-
Munda isn't it? Thought Harrison was playing centrally. They need to take Sanusi off before he gets injured. Been the best player on the pitch by a wide margin.
