  1. If Remy signs I will eat my hat.. Absolute posturing from his agent to get Arsenal or whomever else is in the picture to pay more money for his wages. Nee chance he is coming back. Be surprised to see Ba back too.
  2. Think that any people still upset by this type of sale need to realise that part of our stategy in attracting players here is telling them this can be your "stepping stone club". This isn't new.. Right or wrong is how we have attracted players here. Hopefully they perform well and push the team higher or reclaim big fees when they move. Not that we couldn't attract similar or the same player with a different manager and selling angle but this is and has been for years our chosen selling angle. Always going to be someone leaving, probably even if we scale champions league fringes. This was the chosen outcome when Debuchy signed up.

More chance of him staying at QPR than coming back to this shithole vacuum.
  4. Oh I am thinking Isla over Payet/HBA. "A defender that plays also in midfield? You mean I can play two defenders on the right side?"
  5. Fucking love the guy, even though he doesn't track back.
  6. Very like Debuchy in attack, likes to get forward, hit/miss crossing, good in the air and likes to put a tackle in. Not sure how great he is defensively but didn't embarrass himself. Would prefer Isla.. or why not both considering we could put Isla on the wing. I know, madness.
  7. If Hatem and Marv are truly not going to be given a chance then getting two players like payet and cabella is truly as much as a priority as getting two strikers. Would be happy with zaha and a decent target man upfront too. We will likely end up with a winger and a striker and the rest "saved for January".
  8. Would like him here too.. Will end up at Southampton.

We could have one last go at persuading Debuchy to stay too.. Or one last go at persuading Aubermayeng at the second attempt he should come here instead of Roma. It's like telling your ex you have changed and worked out how to use the tumble dryer. It's beyond too late. Choose the shambles before you or an ambitious club with champions league football. The odds are like a million to one. http://collegetimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/58669-so-youre-telling-me-theres-a-c-Sm9B.gif
  10. huh? He handed request in at Montpellier and Pards will let him rot in reserve so he can play Taylor and Williamson, I think he means. Aye yeah, missed that. Good god, what a decent manager could get from Mapou, Hatem, Gabriel and Sylvain.
  11. Good god, didnt know Ronaldinho was even still playing.. what an odd move. Wasn't he very closely linked to Stoke in his prime?
  12. Tbh he was good but still dodgy as fuck and a liability at times. Honestly not crying into my milk over this one, although obviously a shame to lose him. Played less than half of the games he played well imo.
  13. Wut !!! Must be knackered when he gets there. Quite impressive really. Nearly a marathon 4 to 5 days a week, just showing off tbh After the 8th attempt at passing that driving theory test he just gave up.
  14. "All in" Except for those that are out.... Santon, Marveaux, Hatem, Jonas, Elliott, Gouffran, Cisse.. what ever happend to Mbabu? See Streete and Satka are there.
  15. p*ss off Ian. Once again great 3 word post, Dave. I understand why people may be anxious but I think it's reasonable to judge our progress at the end of the window. That's a good idea. Nobody has ever suggested that before. It is certainly an interesting concept considering I don't remember the last time we left a transfer window with the squad stronger than it was before hand. I guess we will replace seniors with youth, although what chance they will be given to get experience and game time to learn, who knows.
  16. Yeah.. but while there are still people ready to pick up the season ticket space for those that have left there will be no change. Short sighted in the least because when that time happens, the hierarchy are going to have to pull a rabbit out of their ass to convince the jaded things can change and that they should come back and put more money into the club. On a transfer related note.. Ashley Young tenuously linked.. yuck, rather have Zaha
  17. Yup i agree with this but as long as Alan trots out the midtable is the best we can hope for line and achieves it (read not get relegated) he's not going anywhere That or people stop turning up in numbers.. question is.. how many people are queuing up to replace those that walk out or rip up season tickets.. how long with that take before there legitimately isn't anyone left willing to pay. Feasibly come game one there is still going to be a portion of fans maybe even wanting to pick up where we left off by leaving mid game. Especially if no real positive transfer action has happened. That aside a bad first day defeat and us stuttering in the following game will quickly put us back in the same place the fans were before the end of the season. Does Ashley care about mid game walk outs? Does he fuck? why would he, those fans already paid up. The media will certainly get on board though, how Ashley feels about that and the potential implications might be slightly different.. but all press is good press. Still think Pardew will be gone by Christmas with us wallowing in the bottom half.
  18. Who didn't actually scrap the system. Yes he disbanded the reserve team and yes he said he regretted doing it but his reasons for doing it were correct and the team would have started again whether Dalglish came to the club or not. Forcing us to play reserve games at St James was wrong, it should be club choice and was having a detrimental effect on the club at the time as the pitch wasn't as good as now. Common misconception that.. Gave me a whole new level of disrespect towards Dogleash. Was the only leg he had to stand on for why he spectacularly failed here... well that and him being an over hyped, dour, shithouse.
  19. why do that? --> keeping up appearances And the worst part, a good majority of our fans see that as us trying and showing ambition to get better players/compete with top clubs etc.. and to be fair on the flipside the rest of the fans are now so skeptical whether the interest would be genuine or not.
  20. Don't worry wont stop the press writing "Cabella jetted off on his holidays after giving strict instructions to his agent to have his destination finalized by his return" and endless waffle inbetween.
  21. Wow didn't know he had an England cap. Have to be careful, scores highly on Pardews on paper scouting technique.. International experience -yes Champions league experience - yes Premier league experience - yes English - yes Who needs to watch him.. Put him on the monitored bracket and tell Lee.
  22. Pictures of him and mapou smiling during work hours? I expect wages to be docked immediately. Bonus for Sylvain for keeping up appearances. On the upside great to see Vurnons lovely face again!
