http://www.premierleague.com/page/FairPlayTable/0,,12306,00.html Might be two games behind but we are no where near even being in contention for the European spot. Wishful thinking but a woeful lack of research from the .com squad. Would be an extra bonus for Roy Hodgson if the table stayed the same!

Guy on the radio. . . keegan?

The Final Day - Man Utd win the title, Fulham stay up!

Delighted for hodgson, shame for reading as a team that actually try and play attractive football. dont like coppell though. -
Barnes, shorey, zarate. dont mind hunt either as a squad filler.
-
Not exactly thrilled at the thought of pennant, He might turn out alright but ive never rated him.
-
15m not unreasonable! to liverpool certainly, they would be laughing. wouldnt touch him for anything over 9m.
-
Id take him if the price was right. dont think keegan would have a problem handling him.

what do you genuinely expect from next season?

Top 8. decent cup runs if nasty draws are avoided. decent looking football displayed once in a while. -
emre has had too many chances imo. i like him would love to see him stay and come good, but if we can replace him do it. diatta i thought would be on the release list, he can play Rb or cb so wouldnt be suprised to see him stay as cover or go being too old. Ideally we need to bring in alot more than we ship out.

Shocked at this. terrible decision and so harsh on sven. Will have to name a top top quality manager soon or players will be walking and rightly so.

Definately, dig a hole, lock it, throw it in the hole, cover it up, act as if nothing happened.

Not exactly a signing to set the pulses racing, but a very solid one. Saw alot of him when I was living in Manchester, wouldnt exactly call Distin a footballing defender, but they were a great pairing. Could work well with Faye, also like the option of moving Faye up to DM. KK certainly knows all about him and it would piss off my man city supporting mates no end. They wouldnt swap him for anyone.

NO WAY, or fill in the blanks with an R, NORWAY? I think we will be looking for someone experienced like Riise, Enrique needs the competition, we need someone that can slot right in when called upon, like someone said, there is no point buying anyone worse than what we have. Enrique has alot to learn and time in his career left to learn it, for some games, maybe most we cant afford to have him learning on the pitch when we need him leading. An experienced head that doesnt mind fighting it out with Enrique would be good. Whilst Riise would be far from first choice for me, someone of his versatility would be great.

I cant believe how much trash has already started coming out either, its going to be a long hard summer. Hopefully a bit like Jet lag, the usual mong like devotion to checking the bbc rumours section daily, refreshing news-now insessantly and copious postings of new threads for every strenous link of a player to the club should'nt kick in until mid May. That said, there might be a new artical online about KK or Denis Wise's new target, void of any quotes or facts online so I best go find it and get it posted before anyone else does.

Will be good to bring off the bench when Hunterlaar is tired I guess..
-
We will be looking at spending 30 to 40m imo, whether or not we get the people we want who knows. if people think we will get 4 to 5 top class players and a couple of first team ready youngsters for any less they are having a laugh. thats without counting the plethera of youngsters we will be bringing into different levels of the club.

just blasted it low and hard. think it picked up a deflection on the way. he can do well over here though.

joe cole and swps would be imense.

Is N'Zogbia's exit inevitable? (Maybe not - Page 24!)

Keegan has it quite right, as you would expext. We dont need players here that: a) Dont want to be here b) cant be a member of this squad and cope with not being picked if he hasnt got the right attitude or tactics call for it. It wouldnt suprise me to see him stay, really he would be stupid not too. Spurs are the only club that will take him that are arguably better than us, maybe Pompey. Unfortunately its another example of footballers with limited brain capacity and expanded egos, fed and corrupted by agents that just want a bigger pay day. -
Nice sentiment but some players will want to leave, some offers will be too good to turn down. some players just arent good enough. either way we can trust kk to get in the right players we need.

To be fair, Reading were passing it around and attacking much better than us in the first half. They just didnt have a Owen, Martins or Viduka to finish up top. My moan of the day was the Commentator actually saying "F.Y.I." in a sentace about Viduka's goalscoring record. That and some bastards mobile phone right next to the mic, going off every other minute. On the pitch everything was marverlous though! -

Who is he? ex leeds, celtic and england. Newcastle lad. Yeah, so aren't we missing a certain club off his "ex" list! Must be one of those "small clubs" with "no history". -

excellent game. Other than the obvious plaudits, I thought Edgar did well being thrown in, shaky start but overall was no worse than Enrique, some nice distribution under pressure also. Diatta did well, albeit with limited time on the pitch. Duff added a bit more movement when he came on. Beye MOTM for me, closely followed by Butt, Barton and Owen. Again it was a great team performance, even Alan Smith looked good when he came on!
