  1. Good finish. Fulham are woefull. Niemi having a mare. LMAO at Jenas.
  2. Ideally In Creative CM Right Winger Cover LB Cover RB Out Baba Carr Pattison PS. WTF with wanting to get rid of Smith btw.
  3. The last of the old guard. Is Shola the longest serving outfield member of our squad now? (excluding solano's villa excursion) We have got some squad together now, just hope it doesnt take too long to gel.
  4. Sams not messing around. In fairness its probably a decent move, although surely it would have been better to loan him out, if only for getting a great fee for him at the end of the season. We would only end up selling him at some point further down the line, he isnt likely to breathrough here over the next few years, would more than likely get upset not getting a spot on the bench and demand a transfer. How Pattison remains is another matter though.
  5. Actually think he have the better deal there aswell, but I suppose time will tell. Thrilled about Beye, he is a monster.
  6. We have added some much needed height to our squad with Beye, Enrique, Faye, Roz. Not convinced Faye is better than Butt, but will be a greater asset in certain games. Probably would have prefered Diop to Faye, but obviously Sam knows Faye inside out, so I trust the call. Plus Faye has been getting better and better with Diop the opposite.
  7. Good god, went on the squad selector on the bbc website.. had a bit of a shock. It shows the entire fulham side! NIGHTMARE!!
  8. Fantastic signings, fantastic window. Completely new back line that is potentially the best we have ever had! Great situation for us to no longer have Carr and Baba starters, will be just the kick up the ass they need aswell. Beye Cacapa Rozehnal Enrique Happy days!
  9. Loss for the squad, thanks for some great memories, although why he couldnt wait a year is still a little beyond me. The kids live with his ex wife so he only gets a certain amount of access. As far as how this affects us as a team, its minimal, we are on Right Winger down. He possibly wouldnt even make the bench the majority of games this year. Whilst he is good crack for the dressing room which will be a loss, but he is well past his best. From all accounts Cacapa will fill the dressingroom void. Solano's days were numbered the minute Geremi walked in. The only worry I have is our lack of cover for the RW, but we are likely to be playing 4-3-3 alot so we are reasonably covered. Milner, Geremi and Smith will be decent enough until then. Anyways enough un called for bitching, he will always be a toon legend and welcomed back here with open arms.
  10. Rather this deal went through than the faye one if we had to choose.
  11. shame to lose nobby. would be nice to get diouf in as a replacement. more nervous about getting faye and beye in than hoping for a hugely unlikely 3rd.
  12. Just how bad does robinson have to play to get dropped from the england squad? not convinced bentley or young deserve to be there yet. but with the pap mclaren includes they cant be any worse. dont think milner should be there either but can see him being upset considering who else is included.
  13. Solano goes to West Ham if we get both Faye and Beye in. Would be better if we got both and he stayed obviously, but nevermind. Why are people thinking we are signing a third player exactly? Sam has said all week its one, hopefully two coming in. Hope away for a third but thats all you will have.
  14. Looked bright early on (which wasnt so early after they finally got him fit). Dont remember what happened after that. Did look good when I saw him play. Unfortunately that wasnt very often. Faye and Beye looks likely.. with Diarra and Johnson as backup when they fall through.
  15. The third person thing is easy to explain. he is obviously roeder on the wind up pretending to be fletcher under the guise of dazza. simple.
  16. Diarra off to gooners isnt he? good future replacement for butt, already better than carr at right back. would be very happy to have him here. unlikely though. as for johnsen. meh improvement on carr if he plays like he did at pompey, but as much of a liability.

    Want Diouf?

if he is available we will have a bid in for him. belletti and diouf would be fantastic replacements for dyer and solano. Would be suprised if they sell to us though.
  18. Looks good for Faye, bolletti would be cracking, but if we are really lucky maybe we will take Diouf off their hands aswell.
  19. happy to finally rid of the cretin. very apt he would fuck off after we spent millions of hours and pounds helping a player that at any other club would have likely retired. We will need to replace his pace in the squad, but we wont need the rest. will be a great couple of games against west ham.
  20. Local rags reckon a 3m bid was rejected. We shall see, at least we might actually be interested in him!
  21. Would be very happy if we manage to get Faye, Belletti and Neville. A rag tag group, all of which were certainly far from first choices, but solid players that will improve the squad until such time as we can improve it dramatically. Faye is the most likely of the three, he will add more height and fight to a number of positions, solid back up and someone with experience not just in the premiership but of Sam and his workings. Belletti I would be excited about, there could be several options younger and possibly better in the long term, but given sams experience with players of his calibre and age I think he could be another gem of a signing. He would also give us time to sit back and find the perfect guy to fill the RB slot in the long term. (buying next summer) At which point we could either keep him as backup or drop him. Phil Neville is a strange one. He has done so well for Everton, possibly looking better than his Manure days. Would he come? a reunion with messrs Smith and certainly Butt might help. He would be a very solid signing for us IMO, very experienced, very versatile and despite his past is now largely dependable. But the chances of getting him are slim with negatives outweighing positives. Where would he fit into our team? Surely a bench role wouldnt be attractive to him, whey would he want to leave and why would Everton sell, especially after making him captain?
  22. He has been excellent for Everton, enough so to shed his dodgy reputation previous. Would be a great signing, but I cant see Everton selling either. And for 4m Id rather spend on a proper RB or put a bit more on for Appiah.
