I do remember my Dad taking me to welcome the team back after the FA Cup Final a year later though, can still recall the incredible noise to this day. Starting going at the back end of the 77-78 relegation season with my old man and 81-82 was the first season on my tod. Have been going ever since.

You had to be REALLY hard to wear the butcher's coat. It was one up from a black and white tartan kilt with Doctor Martens. My first memory of going into town was being in the Handyside Arcade with my Dad and a couple of lads came pelting past me, closely followed by some loons in butchers coats and white boiler suits.
