Its simple: attacking players tends to have a better on-going resell value. BTW, I think it's football101 that when your side back gone up to attack, you have to have a midfielder to drop back and cover the space. Can't believe anyone here criticize him for this fucking basic duty, Jesus.

Nah. Spurs are doing ok, they wont match the ridiculous January asking price.
-
I dont think I would say this but now I really wonder who is more talented, HBA or Ayoze? I once thought we wont have another player that is comparable to HBA in 10 years but fuck me we got one already. For sure HBAs technique and dribbling skills are on another level but Ayozes ability to perform little magic and linking up with teammates are fucking incredible. Thats sth you can be trained to a certain level but u cant reach to the top unless u have that instinct, and Ayoze has it.

His biggest fault is he is a competent manager who successfully implements Ashleys idea by various means that ultimately hurts the club in the long run. Normal managers would either quit the job or fail to implement. Whether the blame is more on Ashley or Pardew is debatable, but his time at palace proves that he is a competent manager and did have ambition. The Cabaye purchase would not happen if he didnt push for it to the extreme, and it brings them huge rewards. This would never happen to us. I support the sack pardew campaign for our club's long term future. That doesnt mean i think he is a bad manager. In fact he is competent, stucked in the middle, which hurt us most by prolonging Ashleys era and maximizing his investment return. If he is a very talented manager, he could bring us to top 6 despite having limited resources. If he is a s*** manager, we should have relegated for long and Ashley should sell the club already. Personally i wont hate him because he is not the one who initiated the idea. He is just an executor.

I think so, that means they committed lots of silly individual errors and conceded easy goals.
-
Its the opposite. He outjumped Pelle and made a crucial clearing header, saved a certain goal.
-
I dont think he should be compared with Colo because he is a lot stronger. In my opinion he should be compared with Woodgate who is a complete defender excelled in all aspect.
-
Cheap fouls. Every match. Fuck.
-
Other than positioning he is perfect today. Great found, and bye Haidara.
-
Now I see the point why we want Austin even if we have to pay 10m for a bench striker.
-
Anyone still remember the Charney statement? Fuck off man.
-
Were there any? I consider all those rate Haidara higher than Santon qualified to be Santon haters.
-
I honestly don't expect him to be worse than Pardew in terms of team performance. But he is.
-
Obviously regressed this season. Tiote and Wij should be played instead
-
Best DM my arse. I have said before this guy can't defend. If he cannot play like a Pirlo and consistently cost us goals as a DM he should simply playing somewhere else.
-
I aint sure whether all are signed due to that purpose but I did remember Salah was very closed to joining Liverpool before Chelsea stepped in. Salah was not given much playing time afterwards.
-
It has to be Gouffran. Not that Obertan is good, just Gouffran simply lost all the abilities: he can't dribble, pass and shoot. He isn't fast, and is weak in the air. He literally is nothing now.

The reality is Man Utd has no reliable striker upfront, lack of covering wingers and just a mediocore GK, after a very disappointing window with several controversial clear out like Januzaj and Evans. No way this squad can compete with Man city Arsenal and Chelsea. Top four finish is likely just because Spurs and Liverpool are even shitter.

Romero isn't THAT bad.

9 out of 10. Wijnaldum and Mbemba are both excellent signings, especially the latter, 8m for a defender who's arguably our best defender already. Mitrovic, although suffering from behavioral issue, still shows that he is one of the most talented upcoming striker in the industry. Considering the insane price for young strikers this summer (look at Martial, and even Spurs and Arsenal are unable to sign anyone) this deal is still a bargain. Thauvin was one of my favorite talent long before this transfer and I am extremely pleased to have snap up France's best attacking midfielder for that amount of money. He is the real deal, if function properly. The only reason why I don't give it a ten is because we failed to sign a midfielder who can replace Colback or Anita. That said, there aren't much players available in the market this summer, and Cabaye is too expensive considering his price. Some may say we need one more centre back and left back but I think Dummett deserves a run for a season. The defense line is "fine". Could be better, but I am very pleased already.

Latter deal too good to be true.
-
In that case it's more likely an attitude problem rather than ability.
-
Unless you are in deep trouble, you won't pay that amount for Austin when he's available for free 6 months later.
-
You sounds like Pardew inherited a great squad, butt wasn't Palace fighting in relegation zone before Pardew took the job?
