Carl cort is clearly holding on to Jenas for dear life...... The poor bastard is falling asleep on his feet he is so fecked...
-
The football at times during the 7-1 win was superb, looking at some of the saves Walker made and Shearer's two misses it really could have been even more embarrasing for the spuds...

This is going to get very boring and annoying if this kind of fuss comes about after every game that Barton plays in. He has featured in 4 this season and after 3 of them there has been a media circus surrounding him. Nasri @ Arsenal - Just for tackling him fairly and strongly and having the gaul to fall to the fall when Nasri kicked him off the ball. Badge Kissing @ Sunderland makes him scum of the earth, nothing reported on the bottles and coins and general abuse thrown at him and Wayne Rooney doing the same thing but being excused becasue his is in good form. Gabby the whore v Villa - For again having the gaul to be allowed to be thrown to the floor judo style and then rubbing his hand on the whores lips (which may or may not be big)!!! We all wait the next installment...

As someone said in the opening page if Oba did that we'd be having a jizz fest on here. Even though I hate the Spuds and BentleyI got to give credit where credit is due. Top goal.

I did look like Barton was playing deeper than Guthrie, would like to see Barton more advanced, if Butt does come back into the team I think we will see this happen.

Did anyone watch the Sunday Supplement thingy on Sky Sports? They were talking about Barton some of it was fair until they mentioned the badge kissing incident. Basically saying he is an idiot for saying he wants to be a roll model and then doing stuff like that, no mentioned of the abuse or objects being thrown his way either. They then move on to Rooney, apparently the two incidents cannot be compared. Also Rooney can be forgiven given the form he is shown by club and country. Now I think we all know its probably not the best thing Barton could have done but still you would expect fair treatment with similar incidents. Both players should be warned, a small slap of the wrist and be on your way. There are far worse incidents that happen when goals are scored, the hand to the ear to the opposing fans or the shhhhhhh montion are far more inflammatory(sp?) IMO.

Even though Barton has done some stupid things in his life I don't think he is daft enough to fall for rough house tactics in a local derby. I think he will expect the niggly challenges and the crowd baying for him. He has already mentioned the treatment opposing fans will have for him and he is used to the booing anyway. He is bound to get verbals from the opposing players and this is what maybe his downfall, but if he is a reformed character he should be able to ignore any unsavoury taunts.

To be fair to Souness (not that I really want to be fair to him) but Kluivert ruined his own career I think, he didn't need anybody else's help.

I would start with the same team as last night if Beye's card is overturned. We would then have good options on the bench with Jonas and Barton and possibly Owen. I definatley wouldn't risk both Jonas and Barton from the start.

When Poll cocked up and mentioned that no freekick was given when "Barton" tackled Robinho he used it to defend styles but surely it backs up the fact that it was not a foul for the penalty. In theory had styles had the view that he had for the "Barton" tackle then he would have waved play on....

I am glad I was not the only one tearing my hair out watching him walk around the pitch. The guy looked fooked during his 1st run. I don't care that he has been out injured for ages, he wasn't on for long surely he could have run around a bit more. Even when he did he was jogging, I was very surprised when he came on instead of Xisco, I am pretty sure Xisco would have worked harder than Caroll.

No!!! That is a great spot, I foolishly went onto TheFa website & looked at the last match report against Sheepshaggers. Woah less of the sheepshaggers us Welsh are sensitive. It is Sheepmakelovers.......

also the link is from 15th May. Am I going to get whooshed or something now.

Ched Evans played and scored for the seniors on the saturday.
-
Church and Vokes played upfront in the 2nd leg at Villa Park, Evans came on as sub in Germany and didn't touch the ball in 15 minutes.
-
Evans was in the senior squad. Evans is that type of player that if he was in your team you would probably love his passion. He seems a horrible bastard at times. I certainley like it when he plays for Wales, he did no more wrong today than Taylor. Good little rivalry between them.

If Habib Beye is England captain and a complete c*nt then it will be.

We need a figurehead but even in our situation I would find it hard to stomach Terry Veneables as manager. What a mess. I don't blame Houghton he is not a manager.
-
I would like him to start at CB in place of Taylor at the moment. I would toy with the idea of having Taylor at RB instead of Geremi, back that leaves us with even less attacking options. Taylor is very poor at the moment, I am not a Taylor hater but he needs a time out. I am sure Bassong would not do any worse.
-
What has Shearer done throughout his career to suggest he is so certain to be a shit manager? Alot of people think he is destined to fail, nobody knows, I know I'd prefer Shearer to Terry Venables at the moment. Some people harp on about cutting his teeth at a lower level but how many managers do that? So if he went to Exter got them in the League 2 playoffs would he be much less risky? By that logic then Dennis Wise should make a decent Newcastle manager. He did a good job at Swindon and was doing well at Leeds so surely now he is equipped to be the new Manager. Don't get me wrong I would prefer others in the hot seat before Shearer but I wouldn't write him off before he had his 1st day at work.
-
With or without new owners I think it maybe dangerous to bring him back. I didn't want him to go and in a perfect world he would still be manager, but if things are not going well under new regime then the owners may hang on longer given what happened to Mike Ashley. I think we need a completley fresh start. New owners, new manager aswell. I still respect Keegan and love what he has done for the club but sometimes the old saying never go back actually rings true.
-
A very good young Spanish manager doing well with Swansea City at the moment. He has them playing very nice football atm but defence is v.shaky. Under normal circumstaces he would be worth ago but he will be fighting a losing battle with this farce of a set up.
-
It was stupid what Guthrie did, but under the laws surely the 3 matches should be it. Did Taylor get any longer a ban after he mangled Eduardo's leg. Then again Thatcher did get a longer ban, that was 10 times worse than Guthrie mind you.

We have had worst defeats it just feels THAT bad because of the crap that we have had to put up with the past few weeks, I really thought that we would win today and take some of that media cirus away from us. We will lose bad games like this again this season, but we had a lot of injuries to contend with today.
