  1. Rob McDonald, Frank Pingel, Albert Craig, Pat Heard, Paul Moran, Dave Mitchell all garbage and much worse than Joselu.
  2. Win this please and then draw with Man City and Spurs and win away at Wolves who aren't that fucking good ffs.
  3. Fernandez and Kenedy apparently had the winter sickness bug that's been going around otherwise Fernandez would likely have played instead of Lascelles.
  4. Ross was getting pelters on the radio on my way home tonight. 1 win 5 and they are incapable of scoring more than 1 goal and can't keep a clean sheet, Ross doesn't have a plan b, they'd snap you're hand off for just a play off place now. It's bloody marvelous!
  5. Had his best game in ages today.
  6. He played very well and was important due to the incessant long high balls they pumped upfield.
  7. Leave him in, he's done just fine and will have a dip at some point, but currently needs to play to build up confidence too.
  8. Dubravka Lejuene Fernandez Clark Yedlin Ritchie Longstaff Diame Perez Atsu Rondon
  9. Even when the game is finely poised or we're winning there are loads more leave night games early than saturday games. Some due to the ball ache of poor public transport at night and others who work shifts are going straight to work after the game.
  10. That's where my mate is adamant he's going. Reckons his dad and brother have said it's a done deal. Personally i think that's just where they want him to go because that's who they support and where they live and think he's staying put.
  11. Why Not?? Blackburn is more important than Cardiff as it's a chance to win something whereas we have sweet fa chance of winning the PL.
  12. We've played Watford twice already this season, not lost and took 4 points off them. It's a very winnable game. With Joselu up front? The side we put out will have trouble getting past Blackburn, never mind Watford. Our league results against them will have no bearing as all our best players will be rested, and we'd struggle at full strength tbh. Rested? The next match wouldn't be for 7 days later. At Tottenham. It's pathetic. THIS IN SPADES.
  13. I've just walked passed SJP on my dinner break and there was no one about other than students going into the ground for what looked like a lecture or seminar. No TV crews about anywhere.
  14. We've played Watford twice already this season, not lost and took 4 points off them. It's a very winnable game.
  15. That could happen anytime, in training even. Just a replay that was avoidable. We may as well just say we forfeit and save everyone the hassle. We clearly have zero intention of progressing. I'm sure if we did somehow get through we would play a weak team v Watford. If the fa cup games were midweek I could half understand it but they are on weekends and 7 days before the nextleague game. I'd rather we won the FA Cup and got relegated than not try to win anything at all and just survive. If Rondon gets injured scoring a winning goal in the FA Cup so be it.
  16. Go Full Strength and try and progress and build confidence from a win. Fuck the league, we may or may not have enough to stay up, I don't know, but this is our only chance of winning something this year (I know I know) and I'd rather we had a proper crack at it and worry about the league afterwards.
  17. We contained them quite well and had a couple of half chances that we should have taken, deserved a point and after some of the hammerings we've had here can at least hold our heads up high for a change. L
  18. Thick as owt for the winning goal. He Lejeune behind him pointing and shouting for him to force Willian outside onto his left and showed him inside onto his right with loads of space to score.
  19. Might be his account, might not be.
  20. i believe he's selling, just no one will pay the price, he doesn't have to lower it, the club is his. So he's not selling then? Yes if someone pays his price, can you not read You know what he means. No one's willing to pay his asking price therefore it's for sale in the same way that my house valued at £200k is for sale for £350k. He doesn’t need to sell it if no one meets his price, however it is for sale, we know fuck all about the finance of these deals in truth so pointless speculating, however like I said meet his price and it’s a deal. Till then we go round in circles arguing amongst ourselves while he laughs at us. Of course, but I don't think you can deny that the asking price is making that possibility far less likely and is why it's viewed as not really being for sale. We don’t know the finances and how they work in truth, it’s just snippets from the media.I do believe he has the right to get the price he wants, he’s a businessman and I can’t see him changing....we are all just guessing. It may seem a high price, but it's about 4 x net profit plus his interest free loan repaid so it's about right, even if we (probably correctly) think no one will pay it.
  21. Early 90's more like, once the Leazes end and gallowgate end were built.
  22. 1978-1982 and 1990-1992 What did you do about it at the time? And to be fair, I was 10 in 1978 so couldn't have cared less how shit it was as I was a starry eyed kid and just wanted to go to the match. 1990-92 I went home and away every week missing only the odd away game and even though the football was mostly atrocious it was a laugh with mates and was pissed most of the time anyway. So how was any of that worse then? 4 years and 2 years of being starry eyed and pissed vs 11 years of empty, soulless, hopeless misery. Standard of football was worse and so was the state of the ground (despite the neglect that people keep pointing out now). Otherwise there isn't a great deal of difference, particularly with the mckeag years where we just looked to survive in the old first division. Quality of football and the state of the grounds are probably relative across the board tbh, even when you see highlights of Liverpool from that era the quality of football looks poor by today's standards and all the grounds look like shit tips. True most grounds look like shit tips compared to now, but other than the east stand sjp was shocking compared to other places even in so much as there not being something as simple as a corrugated roof to keep people dry. Even places like Plough lane and The Manor Ground which were absolute pig sty's for away fans had a covered end for their home fans.
