  1. They will win the Champions league this seaon, How many english players will play in the Final? Between 10 and 12 probably, England will be represented in the final far more then any other single nation.
  2. The only time he's scored against us since leaving and we won the game as well
  3. I wasn't being pedantic, I genuinly beleived that you forgot that he'd had a run in the team at the start of the current season (still think you probably did..). I'm not going to assume you mean something other then you say, especially when you're making negative assumptions about me.
  4. I wouldn't believe what Bellamy says, always loved him as a player, but he's a horrible gobshite as a person. Then again I wouldn't believe much Fat Fred said at the time either, so who knows what he went for. If we did sell him for far less then was offered by another club then it shows what complete morons Souness and Fred are.
  5. Dear me... Yes, I know you're questioning his performances from before the current season, doesn't change anything. The fact is you thought his last run in the team was prior to this season.
  6. Taylor, please calm down and think for a moment, because you're making an idiot of yourself mate. My post was in reply to one question and one question only "Do you remember the last time he had a run in the team". You obviously thought that his last run of games was in the 2006-2007 season.. If you hadn't tried to take the piss by suggesting I couldn't remember the last time he's played then perhaps I wouldn't have pulled you up on it. Moral of the story, stop being a dick.
  7. I SAID BEFORE THIS SEASON! Are you thick as fuk or blind or a bit of both? FFS man. No you idiot , what you said is that he's been bad every season appart from this one. That's entirely different to when you then said "do you remember the last time he had a run in the team".. which actually was at the start of this season.. You might not want to question other people's knowledge when you obviously can't remember yourself..
  8. Yes Toons Taylor, I do remember the last time he had a run in the team, I don't think you do though. It was the start of the current season, what did he do so badley in those games then? Or am I correct in thinking that you thought the last time he had a run was at the start of last season?.. the infamous slip for Alonso's goal.. I seriously think you have that one period in your head and can't really remember much more of Harper.
  9. No its not. And the reason why he's been happy to sit on the bench for so long as he's not been good enough to command a 1st team spot for the best part of his career, here or at any other regular EPL club. Yes.. it is. Either you're massively under rating Harper, or massively ove rating the rest of the leagues keepers, or a bit of both. I mean common, take a look around at the Premiership and check out some of the keepers you claim would definitely keep Harper out.. Was the first time you saw Harper the time when he slipped and got beaten by Alonso's long range shot or something? Because appart from that he's been extremely solid every time he's been called upon.
  10. There's no way Harper will want to leave. There's a reason why the lad has hung around at Newcastle for so many years even though he's barely gotten a game... He loves the club and must be ecstatic at the moment to finally be getting a run in the side. As for "TBF Harper has been terrible for years. he's been average at the very best until this season.".. Complete and utter bollocks!!!!!!! Seriously mental comment IMO.
  11. We got between £3,000,000 and £4,000,000 for Bellamy, I can't remember the exact figure but he mentioned it in a newspaper aticle. Who?, Bellamy mentioned it?...
  12. Both play f*** all games and score f*** all goals.
  13. Not sure which mugs going to pay £5 million for Robinson, but the rest seems plausible. Having said that, you'll then have sold/loaned out 13 players in one go, how many do you expect to come in?
  14. I don't see what Liverpool and Man City have to worry about considering they don't have owners who sit with the fans, Shinawatra and Hicks are nothing when compared to that, and it's understandable really. Am I the only one who can't decipher that?.. What are you saying here Mick?
  15. I forgot about Defoe, not sure what they got/are getting for him (probably more then they'll get for Bent ).
  16. Fair enough their revenue will likely go up a bit (12th finish instead of 5th and not going as far in Europe will counter that extra money to a degree). But they have spent £40 million already this year, so it'll be interesting to see if last years break even is already standing at a loss this time around. Not really a valid comparison.. We made about the same last season after finishing 13th (£87 million) as we did the season we were in the Champions League and finshing top 4 regularly (£96 million).. Not only has the money clubs make moved on since then but so has the cost of players. Spurs are spending a lot more now then we ever spent back then.. They're on the verge of spending more then we ever have in a single season, and we ended up with quite significant debts. I just think that from now until the end of the transfer window anything they spend will be outweighed by player sales.
  17. Considering where Spurs have been finishing in the league table for the last few seasons that's not that great (one reason why they'll be looking at a new stadium soon I suppose). No doubt there next financials will be significantly down when they finish 12th this season instead of 5th like the last couple of years.
  18. What's there revenue and profit per season for the last few seasons? I suppose they may sell some other players to finance some more signings, but without significant outgoings (Bent plus a few more) I can't see them making any more decent size signings. Debts building up would be my guess. I'm not talking about major debts of course, I just think they'll need to sell now before they can buy.
  19. I can't see it happening, I really think they'll have to sell after paying such a large fee for Modric. Unless of course they're not planning on making any more signings this season.
  20. Where did you read that they've paid £21 million plus addons? That's a crazy price, but I suppose it backs up the story that Spurs told Zagreb they would beat any offer we'd made providing it meant the player would only be able to discuss terms with them.. Never mind, we'll move on and spend on cash on other players, Spurs have taken one hell of a gamble and the way they're going they're going to find themselves in financial trouble soon enough. Though I suppose this signing will be covered by the sale of Berbatov, I doubt they'd be able to finance such a move without knowing they'll be getting a similar amount from his sale soon enough.
  21. Diego wasn't an option when I voted, I'd have gone for him..
  22. That and the extra few million we wouldn't pay..
  23. agggh, get another offer in quick before the scousers turn up! What do you think the scouse tramps will offer them? Bin lids?.... They've got no money. Of course there are other clubs that could step in, so I agree, lets get the deal done now!
  24. Not sure if this was posted yet (did a search and found nowt) or if its as bad as it sounds.. But its certainly interesting and if anything nice to see shit written about other clubs for once http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/liverpool/article3768457.ece The Liverpool fans aren't too happy about it http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=217775.0
  25. Riise?? Why the fuck would we want Riise?
