In the moment, I don't think he saw it that way. Probably thought he was being accused of shit defending. A bit crazy, but over and done with in a couple of minutes most likely.

Loved the half time subs.

He started to take his shirt off but immediately thought better of it, which I took as him reading the situation and thinking how it would be seen, which is a good thing. He's just a spiky little bastard on the pitch. Eddie and everyone knew that when we got him, and Eddie clearly saw it as a positive. I'm sure everything will have been fine once he'd had 10 minutes to cool down. 5 years from now he'll be a different person. Him and Ritchie came over to applaud the supporters, it's not like he stormed down the tunnel. Agreed he was silly, but I don't think there's anything to fear.

Welcome to our world tossers.

The production on this becomes catastrophic about half way through. Thought I was hearing things at first, with the interviewer laughing inappropriately and repeating himself over the top of their answers etc. Believe they recorded this interview pre-Man United, so no excuse for not doing something about it really...

Thought he was excellent last night. Looks like he's really starting to mature as a footballer. Deserves huge credit for sticking in there.

Anyone under the impression we have a nice guy Eddie problem should watch this
-
He was breathing VERY fucking heavily. Thought he was gonna just have a snooze on the pitch at the end of the game.
-
We should never forget that a hamstring for Trippier and a broken foot for Bruno could radically alter our season.
-
He does deserve more credit sometimes, it's true. Very dependable. Ultimately a weak spot in the team, but we wouldn't be where we are with a less fit, committed and tactically dutiful player.

Whatever the reason for the past 3 months, it's a relief to see he still has these performances in his locker. I was wondering if he was past the point of no return. Now it's just a question of working out what makes the difference and working to those criteria. I suspect they already know internally, mind. If it's all about overworked legs and exhaustion, hopefully rotation and semi-backup status will work out perfectly for everyone next season. I'm assuming Isak is back in on Saturday?

That player is worth almost any amount to us.

Same, re: Wilson. I'm at the point of instinctively doing it with every goal now, pretty much regardless of the circumstances. I spy with my little eye, a Scouser with a temper.
-
Howe looks pissed off and that's a good thing. A sloppier manager could see us lose this. Believe we'll come through ok though

Got my eye on Tottenham

I guess this is the perfect thread for it... Hope they sort out the microphones on the press conferences sooner rather than later. It's a right state.

...and there was the one Willock skied early against Forest.

Mentally speaking you can tell he's Eddie's dream player.

Expecting a win. Concerned about their defence but I think we've moved past those problems now.

I wondered, but similar to Chelsea, it probably wouldn't be a smart move right now albeit for different financial reasons. Still surprising to me that Everton never, so far as I know, took an interest in him, given he supported them. Part of the pattern of them being run terribly over the last few years, I guess.
-
Oh yeah, in terms of where he'd choose to go, I'm not sure, was thinking more in terms of his options. Maybe he'd have gone for Brighton when Potter left? Imagine he'd have wanted a longer stint at Celtic though.
-
Would maybe be an outside contender for Chelsea or Tottenham now?

Arabic for "come on" basically. Guessing they've picked it up on this latest Dubai trip as never heard it before.

This new yalla thing is gonna go down a storm with our Arab fanbase.
