Signed for Bedlington now hasn't he? Aye, saw him a couple of weeks ago. :-[ wiki has him at Hamilton Academicals? He's recently left Bedlington and gone to Northwich apparently. Already??? Don't know if he was just trialing for Bedlington the night I saw him. Maybe he didn't impress 'em enough. -

At the training ground according to .com Chelsea's Cameroon international midfielder/ defender Geremi is reported as currently being at Newcastle's training ground for talks over a free transfer move. There had been recent speculation that the 28 year-old could swap Stamford Bridge for a second stint at the Riverside - having played season 2002/03 for the Smoggies when on loan from Real Madrid. http://www.nufc.com/ -
Aye, just wait till he gets back.

Poor Aaron. What's he done to deserve this? Made his debut against Roma, you know. Um. Where else can you get a player like him with a brain and two feet? Uness Roma have moved to the Nou Camp i believe it was Barcelona who Aaron made his debut against Eh? Are you sure? Aye, was Barcalona - 26-Nov-1997

Dunno why, but an image of Peyter came to mind.

this ^^^ is one of the best hittings of the nail square on the head you'll ever see. I couldn't agree more if I tried. The endless hype is nauseating, when we all know pretty much where we're going to be end of season. The nadir was this season's FA Cup final. I didn't even bother watching it. Who, who doesn't support either of those clubs, could really give a flying f*** about which one wins the cup? As soon as they were hyping it up as the two best teams in the country going head to head, and the insinuation that we were in for an assured classic. First though was best team going forward v best team at destroying play. They made me mind up for me before hand to do summat else on cup final day.

Hoy it up on Ebay then and we'll watch the clamour for it.

Best debut you've ever seen for a toon player?
ennyoueffsea replied to Leazes1986's topic in Football
After he left us, didn't Quinn score a hat-trick on his debut for Coventry, as they won three nowt at Highbury? -
Been on news that the last charter flight due out of Liverpool has been cancelled. There's a lorra weepin' an' a wailin' in the airport right now. There's now the situation where there are loads of supporters over in Greece without tickets, and now some with tickets stuck over here. Just interviewed a woman on the BBC news. She'd travelled up from London to go to her very first match. Shame eh?

Gawd, he must have a canny size heed.

Agree 100%. They done the same thing to us at the beginning of the season which led to a goal and i seem to remember them doing it on other occasions this season and they always seem to get away with it. Happened 3 weeks ago against West Ham when Kevin Davies blatantly pushed George McCartney leading up to a goal by Diouf. McCartney deserved that one though, for bein' an ex-mackem. :toon1:

Absolutely spot on bloke. When they used to train at Maiden Castle, used to take the kids along. Asked Pav if he'd pose for a photo with the kids, and nowt was a bother. Even when me camera wouldn't work, (Operator error? ), Pav insisted there was plenty of time to get sorted and get a few snaps done. As has been said, a really genuine bloke.
