It made it look like Smith was on Ballack, but he wasn't. If you don't believe me, you can watch it again. he failed to get in front of th player. He might as well have done wat he normally does, and just stood there. i was there, and i watched him scuttle around doing fuck all of benefit, as always. We paid 3 times too much for a subpar Premier League player.

quite the opposite. from day one, some idiots labelled Faye as a "beast", partly in an attempt (imho) to make Taylor look bad. Bt Faye has at best been painfully average, ad is consistently caught out of position, ball watching etc. But for some reason, some cretins decided to buld him up, as they did with Cacapa, on fuck all grounds. Its been very 'trendy' to knock Taylor, but he is our best central defender by some considerable margin, and is far better than any of the players he's been next to for a good while.

Enrique? I understand the rest mind. I know its not a popular choice and the lads improved a lot. He just is terrible in an attacking sense and KK has always preferred full backs who can shuttle run the pitch and overlap the wide players. Maybe later in his career Enrique might find himself better suited to centre back. Not an outstanding left back. He's great at that "breaking from defence" thing till the ball is taken off him after 20 yards. but h'snot shown enough to be called a top 6 player yet. And that should be our benchmark/target, despite all the (now quiet arseholes) who predicted glory days when their Messiah returned.
