I’d also love to see the league-wide speed/sprint count data from this season, because it feels like we’ve completely lost any edge we had there when at our best and we haven’t improved enough technically to compensate.

Genuinely think Eddie Howe with a full week to prepare a settled team is in the conversation for best manager in the league. He’s very clearly still not capable of managing a relentless fixture calendar that demands rotation on an almost game-by-game basis to that same high level, though. I’d argue that he’s as hamstrung by our squad quality than anything in that regard, but to be balanced, he’s had a massive hand in how we’ve used our funds. We’re so rigid and reliant on partnerships/patterns that we’ve just looked like a mess too often this season when the personnel has changed. Could write an awful lot more, but can’t be arsed. This season is sucking the life out of me after that cunt of a summer.

Seeing Andy getting pressed is cheering me up a bit, can’t lie.
