Watching on Dazn in spain amd graeme jones was absolutely fizzin about Maxi’s lax play and lack of effort covering back. Showed him two times going beserk. He had a pretty bad game today as far as effort for the team goes. contrast that with Isak who ran his heart out for ninety. think we are seeing the last of maxi…

Rice or Philips (after his great year at city) would elevate us another level. Maddison also, would unlock those close games where we just can’t seem to get through robust defending. With an up and coming striker and a couple of astute cheaper signings we would be ready to rock it with anyone!!!

What about that serbian or croation bloke playing in Italy who is on a free in the summer? right sided if i remember….

Looking at the fixtures, there really aren’t many Easy games tbf. The prem is quite high quality at the moment

I think we will get a result on Friday, then Manu at home should be decisive… we really need to get some revenge there! Tottenham and Manu are our main obstacles to CL. Tottenham have some difficult games also, manu seem to have a slightly easier run

I thought he worked really hard today and blocked the passing lines well. I honestly think he is being instructed to be more conservative or to mitigate risk.

I was 100 % they were going to give the pen via VAR. pope was very lucky, and he had two other very shaky moments.
-
It’s a shame but the gap that needs to be filled is longstaff, he would be a great back up but a ball winning 6 who can pass would be top.

If botman had of scored that move at the end… Wow!

My takes from today: first half we absolutely dominated and should have been three up. Isak was electric and was a real presence and so difficult for the to defend against, works the space between mid and the defence so well and his speedy spurts are orgasmic Murphy was great in the first half and seemed like a new signing, ASM still looks just off the pace or is still adapting his game to eddie’s orders. Willock was great throughout and bruno and longstaff both seemed a yard off it. Pope looked very panicky from early on and although he made a couple of class saves he was jittery throughout. Without the headfunk errors, Trippier would have had a 9/10 performance… Big dan seemed much better and schar was schar. miggy had a point to prove and did so majestically. All in all, a good afternoon añbeit in typical Nufc style

This game could jumpstart our season. Tottenham have a few extra games and we only have to start converting chances, has to come soon…
-
I think eddie will stick with his 433 formation: defense plus: bruno longs. Willock murphy. Isak ASM
-
Would probably have lo gstaff sitting and bruno on right
-
I would like to see this team against wolves, resting a couple of players who have looked a bit jaded… —————pope————- trip——schar—-botman——targett Longsta—-bruno—gordon —-miggy——-isak——-ASM
-
For years now manu(re) have had teams full of moaning and cheating cnuts, of course refs are going to give more their way….
-
Wolves are playing well at the moment and look quite solid. I think longstaff, bruno and willock in the middle. Possibly give big dan a breather and have target at left back. Isak has to come in as striker with miggy and Gordon or ASM. we are due a win and we could well give these a pasting, hope so!!!

I am going for an all out blitz in the first half and the. Resolute defending to maintain our early 2 goal lead: ————— karius—————— trips——schar——bot——burn —-j wil—— bruno—-jow—— —miggy——-isak——-ASM bringing on longstaff, murphy and calum to finish the game off, resolute defending and drawing of fouls.

If you look at the top ten teams currently in the league, I reckon all are capable of beating anyone on their day, really strong league this year (second part at least). Top six would be a great achievement.

Cycling is very low impact and is normal to keep aerobic stamina up. If it’s a slight hammy dont think it would do too much harm as lo g as he stretches well.

Say three (in attack) but five in defence…
