Full back, Centre Back and Defensive midfielder

We definitely need another centre forward, if Wilson gets injured we are completely toothless! I do not want wilson out the team as for me he is our best player. We need a central defender who is consistent and can bring the ball out, we can then decide on which of the ones we have left steps up to make a decent pairing. We need a left back desperately, Lewis needs nurtured and obviously is not ready, there are no other half decent players there... Manquillo at right back is fine. Dynamic Ball winning powerhouse midfielder is very lacking. A right winger would be a bonus (Zaha??? yes pls) If Dubs is over his Euros form then I don´t think a keeper is essential, keep Darlow for back up. Hayden is decent cover for a holding midfielder Willock and longstaff should get better Almiron needs technical direction and he will be great. ASM is the black or white case for me, he either responds and starts playing for the team or we might see him jettisoned...

Nail on the head there with the reference/comparison to Hatem... The talent is there and he could become one of the best players in the prem, but he needs to realise that a great player is one who gives their all (100%) to the team every game. He cannot shy away from the hard yards, that is one of the base pillars of team games; attitude, hard work and enjoying the game!!!

Deffo switch them, ASM might prefer Nº10 but hasn´t played a decent game there. It´s an easier position for him cos he can hide more when defensive running is needed. He is far superior attacking wise out wide and will have to track back a bit more. Almiron on the other hand does do the defensive shift and plays well in the 10 position for me. dead cert this one especially if he is to play his favoured 4411 style.

Would probably fit into a 4411 reasonably well, two up front who can hold up the ball or flick it on, and both press reasonably well and intelligently. With a good manager we might see a different player, would like to see it as he does try when he is on the pitch...

Declan Rice and Soucek are playing top class football at the moment, really enjoyed watching them this season and both seemed to have continued their Euro form into the prem. Add the complete transformation of Michail antonio... Unbelievable! west Ham look well worth their top six placing

Some real high quality mjanagers in the Prem, great to see but make our task at hand even more difficult. I think Solskaer lets down the top half of the table as he seems really limited tactically. It has taken Arteta two years to get Arsenal playing decent football with more or less the same players, and Moyes has only just redeemed himself after a couple of up and down years at W Ham. I am praying for a miracle with eddie, but it is going to be a long slog this year with no promise of a happy ending (Prem or Champ?)...

How come a zillions fans see this and a manager who is with them every day is incapable????

What the funk is he doing in the team. Shit penalty, two yards late every time and then when he gets the ball he loses it. Why the hell is schar on the bench and fede not even called up...unreal!

Aye, some top managers in the prem at the moment. Can see Spurs really getting going with Conte, they have some great players and not many glaring weaknesses. Can´t see anything but them climbing the league. If Levy allows a few purchases in january/next summer they will be another team to add to the big six... prem will just get better and better. For funk´s sake, I hope we stay up... exiting times !

My opinion is that he has thought about the reality of the situation; a team second bottom and without confidence, majority of players who are championship level at best and for him to leave a club that are in the champions league... doesn´t make sense and it could be a career destroyer for him if we went down even after Jan signings (nothing is guaranteed)! You also wonder if his style might just suit Spanish football better than the prem, he has been great with his Spanish clubs but was not so great at Arsenal. I would have like him here, but you can´t blame him for staying put.

I also don´t think Coutinho would be right for us this season, how would you fit him in up front without leaving us super light defensively. Would rather go for a ramsey type before coutinho, he puts his all on the pitch and doesn´t stop running, would be a better similar signing for me...

Deffo with this. I just hope the more fickle bunch give him a few games before the vitriol starts. Likeable person and what he did with Bournmouth is pretty incredible. Yep, right person and right time...

He has been pretty poor this season, but has had a few injuries and players out of form. Watched them at Bilbao and they were unlucky to get beat, they played better football than Athletic.

Aye, quite possible, taking into mind the shenanigans of playing Clark instead of Fede/Schar... I have never believed in the mantra of some coaches about training at the same level as a match, you cannot get the same adrenalin and focus on a training pitch as you can in a competitive match. Some players just rise a bit for games. I do believe they should all be punctual and put an effort into all sessions, but match level is never quite the same, otherwise you would have injuries galore.

Need to poulate the midfield against this lot and hopefully restrict their space to pass and run. I would go for a 4-5-1: -----------------Dubs------------------ Manquillo---Fede----Lascelles-----Lewis Murphy---Almiron--Hayden--Willock---Fraser ------------------Wilson------------------ ASM to come on after 65 mins and try and change game. I think Emery would be the best man for us at the moment. He plays organised football and gets the best out of players if you take into account the villareal teamsheet (players are way below the levels he gets them playing at). Decent to watch as well.

Biggest mistake from him is Krafth and Clark still in the defense. They have both been shi*t for the last year or two and they should be nowhere near the first team, what can he see in them to have them on the pitch instead of Schar or Fede??? Something strange here...
