  1. Suggest a sceptre and a cape to go along with the red carpet. Bugel fanfare to top it off.
  2. Damn it sucks having a team miles better than the rest of the league eh?
  3. With Rafa still here? No He put Dennis Wise over Kevin Keegan. Don't fool yourself into thinking Ashley is anything but a scattergun idiot.
  4. Well lets hope he gets it. Because Ashley's idiocy knows no bounds and I could genuinely see him try to install Pardew as a DoF next season if still without a club.
  5. Can see him going back to Valencia

  9. Your opinion does not count
  10. Aren't we already safe? Every team below us can't win all their remaining games because maths?

    Rolando Aarons

last two injuries seem exceeding harsh on the lad like, broken metatarsal first recovers from that then gets tackled first game back in training with his leg planted in the ground and his ACL goes hardly in marcelino finger territory just yet imo I think most players naturally play a little within themselves to prevent injuries, i.e. not running 100% flat out, but 90-95%, how much you commit to tackles, how much you concentrate on the landing vs the initial jump. Some don't and seem to pick up more of these types of injuries (see Aarons). I think Lampard and Speed were very smart like this and that's how they hardly ever got injured despite playing a stupid amount of games, of course there would be exceptions, but seems to be a bit more than coincidence to me at least considering how lauded these two players especially were regarded as very intelligent as far as footballers go.
  12. I'm not a fan, I don't like strikers who are clumsy in front of goal, but I did suggest that with Gayle out for a month we should start with Mitro on Saturday for the same reason. He's not a goal scorer, but we have been playing a lot of long ball stuff in recent games and if we are going to do that, we might as well use him for his strengths in that area. The idea being, even if he doesn't score he can create enough havoc to allow other players to get in on goal while he occupies defenders. I think Ritchie has benefited especially from Gayle being out, Mitro pulls defenders out of position and with Yedlin bombing forward, he's made the most of what he's been given. Gayle pulls defenders all over the place more than Mitrovic with his movement. Mobility is another weak part of Mitrovic's game. Yedlin is the reason why Richie's performances have improved. Not sure I agree, Gayle plays off the shoulder, it'd be madness to man-mark him as every single ball over the top will be a goal for us. Slower forwards like Mitro you man-mark and that's what gets defenders out of position. Not disuputing Gayle's awesome movement, it's just not the movement that alters a flat back 4 out of shape.

  14. Don't see how he'd get a game there at all, strange one that. February says hello.
  15. Probably my favourite player of all time.
  16. He's not the only one who wants to clock Dummett then

    Andros Townsend

Would prefer we signed him and used him in the PL to be honest.
  18. Brighton in the Premier League, just can't wrap my head around that. Lived there for a good 5 years, nice place to visit.
  19. Let the fans begin! Edit: Oh wait, it was 'Start the fans, please! Sorry
  20. Hopped over to Wiki to re-educate myself - http://i66.tinypic.com/2m49dn5.png Can't argue with the results, especially second half of the season there. No idea why all the 1-0s and 2-1s imprinted on me so much. Born masochist.
  21. I even saw him complete a forward pass in the first half. Granted it was about 15 yards towards the touchline and about 2 feet forwards, but it still counts.
