I 'd think that this message should have been communicated to Liverpool and Isak's agents some time ago. Probably was. Isak said something about how "others had had their say" and he was (finally) going to speak up. My impression was that all of leaks were coming from him and his agent or Liverpool. Howe has said very little publicly one way or the other. This seems to me like a leak from the club or PIF. Somebody decided to make this publicly known now. The only other clear message from the club has been "Isak is not for sale". This goes back to last season. I'm sure that Isak and his agent were told this.
