Point well made Brummie, we have squad depth of a very flimsy nature. People on here won't be happy till we have Messi on the bench. When we have a couple of injuries the people who are coming to replace them (Smith, Carroll, Duff, Edgar etc.) are of a lot poorer quality and our first team isn't exactly packed full of world beaters to start off with. Bringing in some players of equal quality will give us cat least competition for places which can only be a good thing and might encourage some players to play a better. I also think Larsson (Bluenose connections aside) could do a decent job for your boys.

Henry won't overly enjoy playing upfront on his own either I would imagine whereas Anelka (with Bolton) & Benzema have both excelled playing this role.

Hard to say between him & Evra tbh. Evra is slightly better at defending but i'd say Clichy is better offensively. Abidal is a much defender than both but has been gash this season and offers little in the final 3rd.

Without coming into central Leeds it could be a bit of an arse working out where else to pick up from. I live centrally personally and this would be easiest for those who live in the suburbs (Headingley, Chapel A etc.) to get to but it would be fairly out of your way to come into central Leeds. Some ticket prices are a joke. If you're a new applicant to ST's at Leeds the cheapest adult ticket (not in family area) is £440.

They'd get nothing out of that. Be stupid to keep him at Man Utd next season, given that he'll be behind Rooney, Tevez, Saha, (Ronaldo), and whatever other striker they get. He wouldn't get a game. Be much better for the lad, and for Manu if they want to keep him (i think he'll turn into a really good player tbh), for him to stay at Hull for another season. Saha will be off this summer though and so may be Ronaldo. Think of what he can learn working with these players. A lot more than he can working with Rooney et al than Windass et al
