  1. This is bullshit. And what's with these drama-queen tactics from KK. Fuckin' hell.
  2. Whats the big deal if he is? It's Hugh Grant, man! Four Weddings and a Funeral, Wet Wet Wet and all that. Come on. Bah, I just miss the 90s.
  3. I've seen him at a bunch of Fulham home games this season on telly. They usually show him with his feet up all alone in a whole stand to himself. Good that he supports them and not the other (blue) shite near him, though.

    Rui Costa

Thought he died. People really have to put "not dead" in parenthesis after such threads, a la Dave. Yeah, a legend though. Golden generation.
  5. Well done Roy Hodgson, well done Team America, good to see the Cottagers stay up. Sad to see Reading go, though.
  6. Quality. You'll miss him. [/Captain Obvious] He hates Blues and tells the media how much he hates them. He's played out of position all season this year without a grumble. He stuck with us through some shit times and never moaned, despite being a first choice CB with a decent international side. He's one of us. I'm really, really going to miss him. No Aaron Hughes, tbh.
  7. Tell me about it. No. Tickets. Anywhere. Except for scalpers and pedos on Craigslist and such. *Sigh*

    1 Man team

KD is right, Friedel has saved their arses on numerous occasions. Two or three years ago he won Keeper of the Year for them, didn't he? I remember him making blinding saves at Highbury. In any case, not thoroughly a one-man team, but the man's fuckin' unbeatable, and maybe the team relies on him a little too much.

    Beye today...

When he marked Big Al out of the game in both legs and nullified each and every attack we took to Marseille. Drogba got all the plaudits for that game, even though there was only one MOTM for me then.
  10. Best bit was that he admitted we were not great and passing was poor at times means he will certainly still be looking to improve Yeah, fuck, was thinking the same thing. It's a change from having Souey, Roeder and Allardyce in charge who milked any sort of wins to pull the wool over our and their eyes. KK has greater ambitions and has his own style of play that he prefers, and tells it as it is. Also, what is this obsession with the media and asking KK about Owen any chance they get? Every interview I've read or seen since KK took over has included Owen somehow in the topics. We have other players, you know. Fuckin' hell.
  11. Help, any Canadian networks covering this game? I only see it on fuckin' tape delay on Setanta here... is that all? Fuck, desperate here.
  12. Yes, it was him and I was there today. Robert outclassed every player on the pitch and barely broke a sweat. Windy as fuck at the match and his goal was well taken as he was smart to drive it along the deck, through the wall. He was also named man of the match. Check my flickr account for some iPhone pic's of the match. Lucky git. How much were the tix? Where can I get'em from?
  13. Also replacing 'which' with 'witch' I think adds extra spice to the English language.

    Alan Smith

And the funny thing is, compared to Luque, Bowyer, et al, his attitude has been top-notch, commitment never in doubt, and he has genuinely come across as someone rather endearing (maybe it's his hair and passion). The thing is... he's shit. Even Stephen Glass did more for this club.

Does every thread about a black guy have to turn into pages of reactionary posts to an usually unfunny racial joke? I'm poppin' over to the Beye thread and waiting for someone to post something rather silly now. *Rubbing hands* PS: Unfunny, unnecessary, lacking in context. And I hardly even had a reaction when I saw it. Didn't even 'meh...' Was more confused than anything else. The main question is... why? How is that funny? Just asking out of curiosity and amusement.
  16. To own up to such a thing would not only be seriously embarrassing for the individuals concerned, but would show them to have a distinct lack of understanding of this club and it's relationship with Kevin Keegan. Perhaps someone could do a search of the forum and name and shame the worst culprits. I've been following the club since 1994, and I questioned the re-appointment of Keegan. And I have to say, I've never, ever, in my life, been happier to be proven wrong. As for not understanding the club, I suggest you actually understand the context of Keegan's re-appointment: for once we wanted to take the club in a different direction, and not have our board keep making decisions to appease disgruntled fans and ride the wave of nostalgia that the media keeps associating with us at the drop of a hat. Get off the high horse, Sir. Everyone's got a reason. At the end of the day we just want what's best for this club. And if it's in the form of the Messiah himself, what better way to do so?
  17. Angel's milkin' it in the MLS. Easiest league he's ever played in.
  18. OMGFG OIGHGIKNFDLGDFLKNFVKF OMG. I need tickets.
