I read about Sissoko, but I've never seen him play. One that's young, talented and attainable I reckon in Gelson Fernandes. Not getting much pitch time at Citeh, looked excellent last season and at the Euros whenever I saw him. Double swoop for him and Onuoha would be excellent.

Shame injuries ruined his chance of becoming the player he had the ability to be. I'd still say Woodgate was better for us mind.

Plus Pompey is right next to So'ton and nearish Brighton and to a lesser extent London According to wiki it's about 450k, and they're further from Southampton than we are Sunderland. Why don't they get 47k+? Pisses me off when people insinuate the only reason we get good crowds because of our 'unshared support'. It'd be shared more if we were much worse than the mackems.

possibly, but i still blame him entirely for last week. Absolutely, his substitutions are the real problem I see with him, the changes he made last week were truly awful. To be fair he only had one center midfielder available when Guthrie got injured. but there was no need to move so many players about.....colo to centre mid and taylor to centre half would have kept our shape that had pissed on them first half. Big time. They looked like they'd never met each other before in the second half, after outclassing them first half, shocking turnaround.
