I agree. Much more realistic signing than SWP as well. Would be a good start in rebuilding the midfield, plus in Lennon and N'Zogbia we'd have one of the most exciting, if not polished, pair of wingers in the league.

no thanks Massive improvement on Milner, would add some much needed pace and directness (is that really a word?) to the team. Would be a, potentially, very good signing imo. If the gossip column is right about Ramos listening to offers we could probably get him for £8m or less. Well worth looking into.

I agree NE5, I though Dalglish was a brilliant appointment at the time, unfortunately it didn't work out for us. After that, I wasn't convinced by Gullit but was willing to give him a go - shite sadly- Robson was brilliant and the less said about the two after that the better. BTW does anyone think there's any milage in the Owen/Dalglish analogy? Should have been brilliant, superb record, ultimately a mistake.

Fair play, they Kelly goal is almost certainly a bigger/more important goal in the history of the club. It would be a boring thread if everyone said the same thing though, and that was the best alternative I could come up with!

I think a lot will be revealed in the Summer, not just how much money Keegan is backed with but what sort of players he's targeted, from that we'll be able to understand why he couldn't attract them in January. It's been a shit season without doubt, I just hope now they've got there man the club can start moving in the right direction, we've just got to see this season out. I agree. This summer we will really start to understand what the new board is about.

Yep. I'm still shocked by how quickly he faded once leaving us. Was one of my favourite players during SBR's time. I loved him as well. He was quality in this game: As he got kicked, and punished for his opponent diving he just stood there with a look of bemusement on his face, and carried on. Class.

I could probably name you 10 worse that just we've made in the last few years.
