Should None Season Ticket Holders Have Their Own Forum?
Mowen replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
Told you I knew nothing about it! I thought that you Stevie and NSG had set up a forum, must have got the wrong end of the stick. Anyway, doesn't matter! -
I'd agree with that. I thought we were certainties to win the tournament when that goal went in. If only Sir Les had been brought on for ET, we'd have mullered them.

That is quite a good idea actually. Didn't you already try and fail with the first idea? You do know I was taking the piss, right? I thought that was plain to see. I know mate, so was I. Don't really know anything about your site, just vaguely remember there being a bit of a furore some time ago. -
I'd like to see a few players who haven't played much for England getting a bit of a run, like Bentley and Young (and, ideally, pick up a week long injury). Even though I don't think he's good enough to start yet, it would have been interesting to see how Agbonlahor reacted to the step up, and playing alongside Rooney.

I've never been of the opinion that Owen is a world class finisher, he's always missed a lot of chances as far as I can recall. Where he does excel is in creating the space to have a chance, in his prime he was getting a number of gilt edged chances every game, and sticking some of them away. His footballing brain has always been his biggest asset imo.

Bullard looked good. Would be an excellent player for us in our current predicament. Worth a look in the summer or not quite good enough long term?
-
The cameraman didn't catch Duff and the defender when the ball was played, they were too far ahead of the play. How convenient. Looked miles on from where I was sitting, lush through ball from Charlie. You couldn't see it on the replay shown on Sky, commentators seemed to think it was off though.

Although I think he's probably slightly better at Centre back, I think Faye would have a more positive effect on our team if he were to slot in at centre mid. That's where I'd put him for the time being, until we've bought in someone who can boss a game from there, and he can drop back to his natural position.

Infuriates me how commentators always seem to say early on in games that he's been one of our better performers this season. Has he fuck.
-
Couldn't believe he didn't go for the goal today. I was convinced he could have got there if he'd set off early enough.
-
Not as much as they hate us though In fairness, you are twats.
-
Spot on. I fucking love the man, he's superb. I'm also a fan of Kammy, genuine legend.
-
Have we signed him then?
-
Is he lying? The stuff about funds makes it sound like last January. I seem to recall Roeder saying the funds were there, just the players weren't, or something along those lines.
-
I guess we should have suspended the premiership for it

Mancini's son has joined Citeh on loan. Happy yet, Speccy?

Matter of opinion. One mans ideas of "worst" is not necessarily correct. I'd say they are much of a muchness. Points similar too - goals for less, I'd have said, and goals against more. (Not having the actual figures in front of me) just how I remember it. Both were on the slide, with some results despite awful performances. So you think it's about the same, by the looks of that, and that Solano leaving coincided with us sliding into this mess? Isn't that somewhat contradictory?
-
That's the deal, we loan you Rozy for nowt, but you get Dabo to drop the charges and leave the Country and never come back. So what do they get out of it?
-
Alan Stubbs - Everton to Derby. And there was me thinking that deadline day was only just starting to get good. It's been ace!
-
Paul Stalteri, Spuds to Fulham on loan. First transfer involving 2 prem clubs of the day!
-
Was just going to say the same. Proper footballer's name. Diego Swarfega Mk II?
-
To sign? Will he join us now or at the end of the season?

They do it tongue in cheek though. "while the airport workers have been busy again, clocking Kanoute arriving from Ghana, where he has been on Nations Cup duty" David Nugent, Louis Saha, John Hartson, Darren Bent, Leroy Lita and Gary McSheffrey all spotted at Bolton (apparently). They should stick them all in the stand and boost the average attendance.
