BT Sport. Gonna watch the Celtic match, while flicking over to the Liverpool/Stoke game. I can see Aberdeen giving Celtic a hell of a game here, it should be one of the better SPL games this season.

I'm not even going to bother with Monday, I'm depressed enough with the team without watching us getting hammered in the first game. The season starts next weekend for me.

2 is too low for Pardew, look how bad we were last season. But because of the season before that I'd say it's 50/50. 5 for Pardew and 10 if Kinnear takes over.

I'd rather he bought a player, but I don't expect him to shoulder that debt interest free for ever. Reasonable debt repayments are part of any business model. I mean, if we didn't owe the money to Ashley we would presumably owe it to a bank at a much more expensive rate. Wullie wants us to spend next seasons money now, of course we just pluck that money out of the air until then, no interest or owt. Maybe if we pose as a Muslim club we'd get away with it. What about this seasons money? People say we chipped into it in January, but what about last season's money? We spent something like what, £14m net last season? That's not a lot, but people seem to think it's the equivalent of two seasons worth of transfer money.

According to Forbes, we're the 20th richest club in the world. The spending caps and tightness from Ashley isn't justified. We're getting shit loads of money from TV deals as well, other clubs are spending it, we're not, lets see where we finish compared to them given that most already finished above us last year.

It could be too little too late this time. The biggest difference this season for me is Joe Kinnear. The man is a ticking time bomb and there will always be doubts and rumours over Pardew throughout the season. If Pardew goes and Kinnear comes in mid-season we're going to be in massive trouble and will probably drop like stone down the league table, that's if we're even high to begin with. As Wullie said we nearly went down last season and we've bought no one of note. I'm seriously worried about relegation this season. The whole Joe Kinnear mess is shades of the relegation season's mistakes and not spending properly this summer (so far) is the same mistake that happened just a year ago. The only thing that will keep us away from the relegation scrap this year is individual performances, and we've seen from last season that our current lot can go missing when it matters.

The only real signing of note we're gonna make this summer is Remy on loan isn't it?

Everytime I look at a fixture I can't see us winning it. I can't even look at the so called lesser teams and think we'll beat them now after last season. Obviously we will win games, but who the fuck knows which ones.
