While it sounds like it's good news for us, it does make a mockery of the fake morality which was the driving force behind PSR. As soon as the cartel clubs started kicking up a stink that their growth could be affected, the PL backed down double quick. Not surprising since it's the Premier League's worldwide popularity which pays their wages. It's always been about money at the end of the day, so hopefully this will be the end of the holier than thou attitude and the PL officials will take their bungs and fuck off.

He was effectively in the CB position when he got outmsucled by the powerhouse 38 year old Ashley Young anyway.
-
Haaland is more a typical number 9, and a fantastic one at that. At the end of the day you just know he's going to be top goalscorer every season and that's what top clubs pay big money for. That said, if Isak can go the best part of a full season without any injuries he's got the potential to be even more frightening.
-
It was the same last season and they somehow managed to end up 3rd.
-
They are probably one of the less tough opponents we've got left in the run in. If we want to make Europe we have to win.
-
It was really important considering Everton were one of the games against the bottom six teams we have left. We showed we have enough in the first 11 to win against the lower teams, but over a full game we just don't have a bench which will see us through. A win last night would have given us some much needed breathing room.

Not to mention, Newcastle are one of the few clubs who if allowed to spend on the infrastructure could easily become one of the most commercially viable clubs in the world. PIF are not a charity, it's an investment fund. They picked us over a club like Plymouth or Fulham for a reason.
-
Is he out of contract or something? Otherwise what would be the point of submitting a bid in April when we can't sign him until the season's over?
-
I think people underestimate the appeal of playing for this club. If you have never been here maybe you wouldn't get it, but Bruno will know he'll not get the love of the city at Madrid or Paris like he does here. If we can pay him top dollar he would earn elsewhere I think he stays as long as we are CL contenders. If next season is a bust aye he'll go. But I think we'll be a lot better prepared next time round and we'll have a stormer.

What a remedy for coke addiction. Who would need it after reading that?

The slow passing out from the back infuriates me as well, but I just put that down to lack of ability on the ball in some cases, and lack of options in front of them. Bruno comes looking for the ball, I think the only other way to get it upfield is via the full backs and wide men in front of them. Then it just comes down to how much quality they have to do it. Trippier and Livramento obviously make a huge difference when they are on the pitch. At the moment it still feels like we have too many players who get flustered when they are pressed so might just need better recruitment.

Yes that was kind of the point. Dummett looked really non-plussed when the foul was blown up 5 mins after he thought he'd taken Young down successfully.
-
I always rated him defensively, but now I'm wondering if it was just a case of no VAR picking up that sort of offence back in the days when he was playing. I just can't see any reason for him to do it unless he was just used to getting away with it.
-
Also his best spells in the side were with Joelinton, they seemed to interchange down the left very effectively. He's not been so effective this season, but might still be working his way back into the team. He was out for a long time.
-
I actually thought it was him trying to play safety first which was putting him in two minds. Looked like he was itching to charge up the pitch a few times, then checked back and pinged the ball sideways very reluctantly.
-
That goal was just so Isak. There must have been three players blocking it and he still managed to find a way past them before sliding it past Pickford.
-
Would have been a third if that incredible run and cut back had been put away by Isak. It was literally teed up for him six yards out. Would have been the definition of end product - other than actually scoring that is.
-
Since he's not coming here I'd prefer just to refer to him as shite/overrated, and a massive twat.
-
100% this. It is costing us points, and ultimately might cost us Europe.
-
I was amazed when he missed that considering the contortions he went throught to score the first one. But yeah I'm still blaming Dummett.
-
Thought he was playing well within himself tbh, but we missed him when he went off. Not spectacular, but a decent solid performance.
-
Probably concentrating too much on Dummett's hand on the shoulder then the forearm round the neck.
-
Fucking awful this having to listen to Dyche pretending they deserved that. We should have buried them before the hour mark.
-
Aye you'd assume he was up against Lukaku not a 50 year old former winger.
-
Both were superb. We had some decent performance, just ended up with two or three duffers on the pitch who killed our football.
