  1. In his interview for the job: 'Well i've got this brilliant CD with some great songs that will wind Newcastle up...did I tell you I'm from Newcastle?............................Newcastle'
  2. The non-entity himself, yep. Wow
  3. Sounds like he's had a dressing down as well. Good.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

True, but think he will stay for at least another season (one where he's essentially injury-free). He's not going anywhere this summer or next January. Think Ben Arfa's still motivated enough to try and prove himself to Pardew/in the PL.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part but I really think Pardew wants to play Ben Arfa in the team. Of course, there have been instances when this has probably not been the case but imho, Hatem is definitely in Pardew's long term plans.... (The ProZone s**** is probably the main factor in Ben Arfa not being selected actually )
  6. Could we put a dome over Liverpool so that it's cut off from the outside world? Would work out well for everyone....... http://images.wikia.com/simpsons/images/6/64/Dome.jpg
  7. Shouldn't be sold imo. Sure, his weaknesses have been exposed this season but I still trust him to do a job like. He's a steady, not-so-exceptional CB. Having said that, Saylor is the better option but still, it is nice to have someone like Williamson as backup. (We do need another capable CB though, squad depth reasons really).
  8. That is indeed surprising. He looked really good at the start of the season though you could put his lack of goals down to his injury in October? After he came back from the injury, don't think he's actually scored any.
  9. Couldn't really do much yesterday (understandable given the scoreline and Spurs' dominance). A couple of decent crosses in though. Was nice to see him get a runout mind.
  10. That's unsurprising tbh. Though I'm pretty confident he'll sign a new contract in the end. (Though guess it's dependent on where we finish.....).

    Alan Pardew

He got the system completely wrong from the off today. Playing the two Dembas may have looked great on paper but really an extra body in midfield could have helped our cause today. Earlier in the week, there were concerns from some on here that Guthrie-Perch would be overwhelmed by Spurs' midfield and this turned out to be so - Parker/Modric were completely on top today. I think an extra man in CM could have curbed Spurs' attack. Bit worrying that it took Pardew quite a while to change things around mind (switching Jonas to the right/bringing on Ferguson). Bringing Ben Arfa on wouldn't have done much today btw - this is mainly down to the fact we basically had nothing in/from midfield today so Hatem wouldn't have seen much of the ball anyway (imo). I reckon that if Raylor was fit today, he would have started instead of Obertan. Still though, we're 6th and a point off Chelsea/Arsenal. Pardew will hopefully learn from today and will make sure it doesn't happen again in the future. Now it's time to concentrate on Wolves.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Will be certain to start imo. I really think that with Cabaye and Tiote back, Pardew will be able to put more trust in Ben Arfa. The movement in midfield will be there and will be something Ben Arfa will thrive on imo.

    Dogawful Officiating

Thought it was woeful again. That corner decision from Ba's freekick was terrible too. Influenced by the crowd completely. Also will the FA do something about the blatant play acting by Defoe. Cheating cockney c***. Yeah, that was a joke.
  15. He was really poor today. Backed off a lot, misplaced passes and had a bad positional sense. Was just not on it. To me, he was at fault for Spurs' first goal - was out of position. It's becoming clear though that if we are to be a club striving to improve/be ambitious in the long term, Simpson should not be the first choice RB. I'll still put my trust in him between now and the end of the season like.

    Danny Guthrie

Looked to me that he was overwhelmed by Spurs' midfield today. Parker/Modric were really on top.
  17. Yep, that should be his main role. Can't have him starting games anymore.
  18. Good. People need to see it. Didn't watch it before but just saw it just there. Bloody hell, what a tool Dalglish is.
  19. Just got back in from the pub. Fucking hell, what a shambles today was. Absolute shite! We were completely outclassed everywhere on the pitch. We needlessly lost possession and our defending was very poor. Spurs were deserved winners, we didn't really turn up.
