By the sounds of it all Hughton has done is rang up Owen Coyle and asked what players are available and how much we would need to pay. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Age, injury problems and a winger is not a priority. no match winners in our side. Enough said. Petrov can't win matches if he is injured for half the season. Also, if we are working on a limited budget with a wage cap we shouldn't be signing players for positions we already have filled. We have several players who can play on the wings and the priority has to be a striker, central midfielder and defensive cover. Furthermore, he is 31 and will have been given at least a two-year, if not three-year, contract at Bolton. Is he really going to be a match winner at the age of 33 in two years time?

If we are intending on loaning Kadar he would be a good signing as a backup.

France, Ivory Coast and Spain. France and Ivory Coast are pretty obvious. Spain are in trouble because I think Chile will be an extremely tricky game which they likely have to win.

Weird French back 4. Is Abidal playing CB and Sagna RB or is it vice versa?

It's a shame the Puma badge is in the middle on the black and white one.

"It wasn't dangerous play. I'll prove it by grabbing him again" To be fair if your going to get sent off you might as well get sent off for doing something.
-
I rate Motta for grabbing the Barca lad after he was sent off. Disgraceful dive from the Barca player.

Wolves, WBA, Play-Off Winners, Wigan, Bolton and West Ham. They will all be fighting it out with us and then add in teams like Fulham, Stoke, Blackburn, Sunderland and Birmingham who could have an off year and get dragged down into it as well. All in all the Premier League has a lot of crap clubs and therefore plenty of chances for us to stay up.

Obviously it would depend how big the money is but I can't believe how few of you have said Jonas. His end product crossing isn't great and he doesn't score many. He is definetly replaceable.

If I was a Bayern defender tonight I'd be willing to take a booking to test out that ankle.

Rooney starts for Man U. Massive risk, lets hope for England's sake he doesn't make it worse.
-
Think the space of 1 minute could have changed Man U's season. They now have a big job to do at Old Trafford in the second leg when Bayern will most likely have Schweinsteiger, Robben and Gomez all fit. On top of that any injury to Rooney is devastating for them especially with Chelsea on Saturday.

Top 4 secured. Cardiff have to win every game and we have to lose every game (with them ending up with a better goal difference) for them to be able to overtake us
-
I can see their frustration. The past two seasons they have had legitimate chances to get in the top four and have thrown it away in the second half of the season. Don't think that merits a sacking but he needs to get it right in the next 18 months, especially seen as Lerner hasn't really put any caps on what he can spend.
-
I only think it will happen away from home. Which I get the feeling might be a tad precarious. Obviously it depends on how the police handle it but I can imagine some forces being very heavy handed if an away team invades the pitch.
-
Sounds like Taylor has decided to leave in the summer and not renew his contract over the incident according to the Sunbday papers. Big blow if true as while he's not an amazing defender we will have a job replacing him.

benched or out of squad ? Not in squad.

No Rooney or Ferdinand for Man U.

Win and I simply can't see Forest catching us.
