Is allowed to play football but has a 7pm curfew thus making games at SJP impossible for him to play in. However he could possibly play in games such as Arsenal away according to Mort in the Independant.

To be fair our game is over and Havant are the smallest team left in the cup.
-
Doin well to be fair considering were playing with 10 men.
-
Highlights will be on immediatly following the Man City/West Ham game (depending on whether it goes to extra time or not).
-
Am I dreaming? Keegan's back, were winning and playing good football.
-
Surely this is on 5 live?
-
Some attacking players. Fuck defending bring back the good old days.
-
Gonna be 5-0 to the toon next month at SJP.

Won't affect our current deal but it just means that we are unlikely to stay with Northern Rock once our current deal ends. Which would be the case whether or not it is nationalized.

Reported by France football and L'Equipe.

I think it has to be a Shearer/Keegan double effort if Keegan is to come back. Can't see it working with just Keegan.
-
If Hughes is the leading candidate then we are fucked.
-
Don't want Hughes. Would rather have a foreigner or Shearer.
-
Great interview. Lets hope he delivers.

So says the back page of the Mail tomorow I'm told. Apparently it says Shearer will be offered the job with Keegan arriving as a coach/assistant manager. EDIT: Link to the article - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=507894&in_page_id=1779

Disgraceful display today. The players should be ashamed.
-
Milan, Barca or Newcastle? Where would you go? It's nothing but a fantasy to think Mourinho would come here.
-
What about Rafa? Surely if they lose today he's in real trouble.
-
Harry said he turned down our offer.

Niether was Keane, Klinsmann or Van Basten. I know it's a leap of faith, but supposedly we're after an experienced manager, that's all I mean. And Keane, yes, great - proof that having an iconic leader of men doesn't equate to greatness in the dugout. I'm going a bit off topic here but I think Keane has done very well at Sunderland. 18 months ago they were in the Championship relegation zone and he turned it round, got them promoted and has them putting up a decent fight in the Premiership. You have to consider as well that he only has a limited amount of pulling power seen as Sunderland is not the place most young players want to move too, would rather be in London or a big city.

This post is on the presumption that the top Europeon managers are unwilling to come or the board aren't interested in them. In my opinion the only British manager able to get us successful is Shearer. Everyone now knows any other club manager would just be 2nd choice. They would not have the fans backing and would not last out next season unless they provided fairly instant success (like europeon football). Whether it's right or wrong Shearer will be the only one given a chance by the fans and as we all know as soon as the fans go against you then you have a major problem in this club. He's not my first choice, I'd rather have a European manager, but I think we have a better chance of becoming successful again with Shearer than we do with someone like Mark Hughes.
