I've taken that stupid bit out but it didn't prove your point which appeared to be that Keegan had to hear why players wanted to sign for us. As I said somewhere else I agree that Keegan is a very important person when we're trying to bring new players to the club.

You don't even quote people without adding your own bits to try to change the context, I actually typed "since 1969 we've been unable to offer anybody a recent history of winning anything yet we've still attracted players right up until this time, regardless of what others have done in that time." If I'd meant that we'd "always attract high calibre players of the type that we have in the last 10-15 years" then that is what I'd have said.

OK, my answer was too simplistic, you can get the sack for certain crimes and from certain jobs. A footballer could get sacked for taking drugs or match fixing for instance but I can't think of many other reasons. What do you do?

OK so Keegan didn't ask Shearer why he wanted to sign for us. I didn't say that we signed " top international players on a par with the Shearers, Ferdinands, Battys." I'd be more than happy if we sign players who are as good as Malcolm Macdonald, Jimmy Smith, Tony Green, Peter Beardsley, Terry Mac, Kevin Keegan, Chris Waddle, Peter Withe, Terry Hibbitt and Tommy Craig. I couldn't give a shit where our players come from or if they are internationals when we get them, all I care about is what they do while here. I guess that's why you banged on about Smith and Duff being good players, they are former internationals and you can't seem to see past that.

You said that Keegan and Shearer met in his own boot room, you actually named both yet Shearer claims that they met in Huddersfield at the house of one of his mates, Shearer also claims that Keegan rang him and spent an hour on the phone selling the club to him, yet you said Shearer had to tell Keegan why he (Shearer) wanted to play for us. Shearer said it was the other way around and Keegan did the selling to him. I'll quote you in this thread: Keegan has said that he thinks he should get the player on his own in a boot room and ask him why he wants to play for the club. He has done this with past signings such as Shearer, Rob Lee, Ferdinand, all his major buys if not all. I agree with you that Keegan is a very important person when we're trying to bring new players to the club because I can't think of anybody who could sell the club better than him. Where I disagree with you is that you are constantly shit stirring against the club while having no information to back it up yet you pass what you think off as facts because you have an agenda and you’ll actually gain some satisfaction if we screw up. You’ll probably claim that you’ll gain no satisfaction but actions speak louder than words and your actions on here suggest that you will get something out of failure. I'm waiting now for you to claim you'll get nothing out of us failing then you'll spend the next month contradicting yourself with your actions.

I'd love to see us play and win at the new Wembley, I think we'd make it a day to remember. This might sound daft but I think Newcastle winning something would be good for Wembley and football as the game seems to become more sterile with every season that passes.

I wonder if it was somebody from Stoke rather than Spurs, I read somewhere on here that Pulis was commenting on the next Drogba being offered to them. I'm not sure if Spurs are deluded enough to think they can get Eto'o, if they've got any sense then they'll have a plan b so they will probably be looking at Gomis.
