I will come along and watch lads will be gutted not to play but Stu knows why and it will be evident when i arrive ,is it at Blakelaw playing fields ?
-
But the whole point of being a winger in my book is do it Becham style where he used to whip balls in without going past the man or beating the man and crossing or passing to team mate with a killer ball that he has failed to do time and time again all season .

They will find a buyer no problem. Yeah huge debt, decrepid old ground and a global economy slump biggs is right. again the naivety of liverpool fans thinking they are a much bigger club than what they are. i see nee f***er came in for leeds despite their glorious past. hold on, they've won the european cup 5 times and the English top flight more times than anyone else (joint with manyoo iirc) - what the f*** else do they have to do to be considered "big" in your world like? what are Barcelona to you, middle of the road club or something? Having a successful past doesn't make you a big club now. Because we could claim to be a biggish club on the fact we have 11 major honours in our history. Well pointed out

Wayne is a 25 year old journeyman we are his 6th club (not including 2 loan spells at Portsmouth and Fulham while still at Spurs) and Aaron Lennon has had 2 clubs in his entire career Leeds as a kid the Spurs and has become a England regular ,tbh sometimes you get a player and he flowers after being in the football wilderness but this guy for me doesnt cut the mustard and his career tells you why .

Said this in a previous thread and i still stick by it and he may prove me wrong but i just dont think he is good enough in this division, against Villa when we murdered them i think he was our poorest player on the day offensively .
-
Routledge was set free into space on a few occasions against Everton in the second half, every time he ran TOWARDS the defender (usually the last man) and ended up holding the ball up or passing ti backwards. Thought he was supposed to be blessed with pace and trickery? Sticking my neck on the line here and making a judgement i might be wrong but dont think he is good enough for this division ,he has had a few games now and failed to impress me even against Villa when they were murdered i still thought he was our poorest player in that performance .

24th atm happy with that but i look at my team and think thats shit

This - as someone said, the Media love them(many scousers work in broadcasting)and in PL terms they are, like the big banks, viewed as 'too big to fail'...they are also part of the grand EU - sorry, I mean UEFA - group of supposed 'Top' Clubs so authorities will bend over backwards to keep them going. And I mean - EVERYTHING....! Sad but true but isnt it great watching them slowly disintegrate ,it happened to us and all i remember through my younger days was a fab football team ruling Europe at various times ,global brand and medialovitis but all coming to an end and boy do i love it

Well said and i agree i remember him fondly and some talents touched by the hand of god have a self destruct button such as Maradona ,Best and more i cannot think of ,Gazzas bipolar was never really recognised or if it was never acted on so imho opinion things could have worked out differently for him ,i for one wish him good health and a return to a normal life as possible .

Absolutely fab result when you look at the team Chelski had out but the pundits probably dont know any history post Abramovich but the nice bits. This result will give our youngsters such a positive lift and make them believe they can get to Wembley if we get a promising draw for a change but who cares these kids and senior pros know that its only a game and every opposing team has its off days .Not jumping through hoops yet but lets go for it

Imagine if that had been the name of the target. Terminator films would have been 5 weeks long as he worked his way through the phonebook. Smith With a gun would be a laugh just like his recent scoring record

I was thinking that last night, strange WBA to me don't have the best set of fans. Just look at the state of Wigan ,fookin disgrace camera would hardly leave the pitch cos of the lack of bodies in seats im sure they will do is a mosaic to look like fans

:claps: well said and i agree keep up the good work and we cannot moan but if he doesnt score goals he will get the stick he deserves. Really? Deserves? Just from page 1... Nolan isn't a world-beater, but he's a very important player for this club and the level of abuse aimed at him is mind-boggling Tbh just why is he so important over any other player he may have experience but you could argue that his legs have gone and a few years back he would have slipped that past the keeper before and not have been brought down

Breath of fresh air ,fantastic starting debut and imho this guy will give us so much pleasure if we can keep our momentum going ,he will rip opposing midfielders and defenders apart and this sort of player we have been craving for many a year
