Great shot in the arm for the FA cup this weekend imho ,teams who most years who go out just to make up the numbers are kicking premiership ass and all the lower clubs fans now have a dream that this will be there year and best of look to them .Even if Pompey win the cup it will be great for football as the so called untouchables know they have to fight for everything .Millionaire footballers how much do they hurt after a defeat with wembley a kick away .No its the fans that hurt who have to live with the jibes from workmates, pals and read the tabloids the next day .THANKS TO THE TEAMS AND MANAGERS WHO ARE LIVING THE DREAM WE SALUTE YOU.

Anyone who can say we are too good to go down or the teams below us are worse type of shite comments can write there football knowledge on a postage stamp ,not tarring everyone with the same brush but when you watch us there is just not enough fight ,Reading ,Birmingham ,Boro and the Mackems have had recent good wins and i still do not think we have the guts for a fight . -
HERE IS THE SCUM LATEST SCOOP (should be dog shite containment ) TORMENTED footie idol Paul Gascoigne left a psychiatric unit last night, three weeks after being sectioned. England legend Gazza, 40, was picked up by sister Lindsay and driven to his dad’s before moving to a secret location. An onlooker said: “He looked frail and staggered to the car. It was a really sad sight.” The former Newcastle and Spurs ace had been held under the Mental Health Act after his bizarre antics worried staff at Newcastle’s Malmaison Hotel. He had taken to answering the door naked with “MAD” scrawled on his forehead, and would wander around the hotel with squawking toy parrots. Gazza was taken to the secure Middleton St George Hospital near Darlington, Co Durham, where he was treated by psychiatrists, therapists and nurses. His condition was so bad it was feared he might face electro-shock treatment. Talent Last night a source revealed: “When he arrived he was high as a kite and had six bags of cocaine on him. He was obnoxious and drunk. “Towards the end he rarely left his room and didn’t mix much with the other patients. “He just lay on his bed all day eating biscuits. “Then he’d ask if you wanted his autograph and say he wanted to play football. It’s very sad.” Advertisement Gazza won the hearts of the nation when he famously burst into tears during England’s 1990 World Cup semi-final. His career descended into booze, drugs and marriage woes.

A regurgetated story from tonights Ronny gill but it shows we are still after him even though its from Anal Olivers pen. NEWCASTLE United are on the trail of the man hailed as the new Didier Drogba. The Chronicle can reveal that the high-powered United duo of Dennis Wise and Tony Jimenez travelled to France last weekend to run the rule over St Etienne’s 22-year-old striker Bafetimbi Gomis. And United were back in France on Thursday night for the UEFA Cup tie between Marseille and Zenit St Petersburg, when the targets were home midfielder Samir Nasri and striker Djibril Cisse. Gomis is attracting a lot of attention at the moment, with Arsenal and Rangers also looking at the French Under-17 international, who is of Senegalese descent. Messrs Wise and Jimenez saw Gomis have a rather poor game by his own standards in the goalless draw with Nice – he was eventually substituted after 73 minutes. However, if United decide to throw their hat into the ring, it’s likely they will face competition for his signature from other top clubs. And United supporters will be happy that the new scouting supremos are not letting the grass grow under their feet and are already on the look-out for some much-needed new blood for next season. It was the turn of United chief scout Steve Walsh to head for France on Thursday night, and he saw United’s old European foes Marseille beat Zenit St Petersburg 3-1 at the Stade Velodrome in the UEFA Cup last-16 first leg. Their top target was Marseille’s local-born attacking midfielder Samir Nasri, who is of Algerian origin. But Walsh will have noted that former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse (pictured) scored two of the Marseille goals. The hit man, who started his career with Auxerre, is still only 26 and would like a return to the Premier League. Meanwhile, United boss Kevin Keegan and coach Terry McDermott took in Rangers’ 2-0 UEFA Cup win over Werder Bremen on Thursday night. The pair are believed to have watched Gers’ 26-year-old Spanish centre-half Carlos Cuellar, who signed from Osasuna last summer. It’s the second time in a matter of weeks that McDermott has been in Scotland, after watching Celtic’s Aiden McGeady and Scott Brown in their Champions League defeat to Barcelona.

The only reason we could sign him is because he's a free agent so who is on loan from? he bought his registrationback from besitkas so he's on loan from himself. maybe he asked himself permission to talk to us and he was being awkward with himself then he said yes we can speak to him (hes a reet nutter get rid )

Well if its fell apart so what ,if he has turned us down good riddance imho

Also, Geordies don't have loyalty to tesco - if sainsburys sold cheaper milk they'd probably go there instead, not keep going to tesco in the hope that one day milk would drop to the cheapest price in the country. Tescos on my doorstep and if im going there i will get the milk

Lua lua your days are gone at the toon dream on
-
Should he have really played against Manure or did he let everyone down by thinking of only himself even though Harper from the start would have probably made no difference to the the result
-
Spurs would say something different about that with a cup final winning goal .
-
Dean Ashton for starters to replace spuduka.Giles Barnes and little Steven Hunt (atleast he does something with the ball thats productive) just for starters off the top of my heed.
-
Aiden McGeady is 21 and i doubt kk seen him play before he joined us as he said he hasnt watched any footy for yonks .
-
Any one want to guess what minute he gets booked in .
-
Should have a poll to see what minute Smith will get sent off in . :-[
-
Message to any supporter of the toon any where in the world just ignore the arseholes .
-
Seems like a good appointment and good look for the future
-
:That could possibly be the worst idea ever :crazy2: thats why i mentioned the downside above
-
This is probably a daft idea but with KK offering to help out with Gazza i wonder if the Toon would allow Gazza to help out with the youngsters at training but i know with him being daft as a brush he might have a disruptive influence or it could help sort him out and they will have a laugh with him .

He was spotted running up and down the quayside in a shellsuit singing at the top of his voice "The fog on the tyne is all mine all mine the fog on the tyne is all mine" chasing a plastic parrot down the river .
