Yepp! I love Obafemi as a player. But his carreer will soon be ruined if he stays with NUFC. I would love to see some magic from Martins in the future. So far Sam sticks with the S*** tactics, it won't happen in NUFC. So it's allmost I hope - but that doesn't mean I like it - Martins gets a club where they play attacking football. He deserves to show his qualities you'll all be kicking yourselves if he moves to another club in england - put martins in a team with (a) a coach that can drill some runs into him, remind him how to make the best of his pace and (b) have the players/tactics to best exploit that pace and he WILL score a lot of goals and be dangerous does no-one think coaching is necessary any more? he's patently not had any since he left inter so is it any surprise his game is getting poorer? martins needs to be put through the middle and his sole purpose needs to be using his pace to unsettle defenders with better runs, stretching defences and creating space for others...he'd gain confidence and start scoring again right now he's being asked to play like a winger and the only time he sees the ball it's going over his head, flying at him at chest height on the wing, or he's got his back to the goal on the touchline the best thing for martins would be to leave NUFC if allardyce stays, if allardyce goes we need to keep him and get a coach who can improve players, not just piss and moan because those players can't play his "system" 10m too much, get a fuken grip man...we paid 6m for smith for christ'ss sake, is someone trying to tell me 10m is too much for martins in this climate? clowns save the forward save the world ,martins is low on confidence atm due to being used in positions and doing jobs that do not suit him ,his first touch and decision making are shocking for a top flight player .We need a manager who can get the best out of him and fat sam cannot do this due to us being shite all over the place and martins has different strike partners or being put wide right which doesnt help .but my main problem with him is having great chances and not putting them away and thats what we need

errr no i dont think so bobby bought a few duffers in his time .

I don't mean he has one game literally, I mean if we get knocked out of the FA Cup, that'll be him gone whether it's after that or in May, there will be no turning back for him from that point on. I honestly believe his only way out of this would be to win the FA Cup. That's the only thing he could give the new owner, Chairman and fans as a peace offering to bide himself the time he clearly craves and needs. totally disagree a good run in the cup and say getting beat in the semis would be a smokescreen for how utterly s*** we have been in the league up to now and will take the pressure off him as long as we dont get sucked too far down.

could not agree more my sentiments also .imho he has fell out of love with the way football is now and the man city and england jobs have just about finished him off but hey fookin stranger things have happened but i believe not in a million years .
-
Has he done enough to stay in the team and have a decent run to prove he is worthy of a place if not big sam it is 6 million we could of spent elsewhere .always a risk spending big money we all know that but give the guy a run but to put him back on the bench will add to his bewilderment on where his future lies after the big man put his faith in him in the first place.

Newcastle are one of the last places any good player would want to come too atm
-
What? It's not our fault he posted this kinda crap sorry

In our current situation it may be a case of apathy setting in , our players cannot win and what ever the manager does makes no difference to the outcome. But the stoke game will make the fans turn against the manager with a bad result and imho the booing will start again .

Baffles me why he isnt playing and must be worrying mort why 6 million worth is getting piles sitting in the dug out

However, despite their troubles, Newcastle have only lost twice on home soil this season. Allardyce desperately needs that statistic to still be intact on Thursday morning. He added: “Our game plan for Manchester City at home will be completely different to Chelsea. We have to be more creative when we play a home game, rather than playing the kind of containing game we played at Chelsea, where we tried to hit our opponents on the break. “We sucked them in and hit them in the spaces they left behind. It was very effective. They scored a scrappy goal, but we came back tremendously well. Then of course we were dealt a massive blow with the goal that was blatantly offside.” well looks like sam will be going for it and a more attacking team .Fingers crossed milner right ,duff left and emre in for smith will do me or enrique in and the zog moved up field for smith and lets go for it .I will be at work and im more hopeful about this one .

dont think things are that bad rome wasnt built in a day ,yes the first team is a bit of a mess but unless you know otherwise you can elaborate
-
since "WE" here is mostly newcastle you perhaps should add "We,Everton, had a bid rejected.." look at his avatar mate i think it gives it away who 1878 supports
-
All the best to the toon army stick together through thick and thin one day we will be great and hopefully in my lifetime (45 now).A message to the players make us proud of you .

so unfair to pick enrique out as he has played far less games then a few others and has never had a real run in the team compared to some others notably barton and smith who have been shite imho.

"My support for Joey will never waver," said Kay. "I feel devastated that this side of Joey is the side people see when I am privileged to know a different man. When I heard the news, I was not totally surprised. I was on the phone to him for an hour-and-a-half the night before and he was troubled about many things." should be in a mental ward imho

agreed. very good news if true, would like to see him given some much needed funds in january, creative midfielder is a must Even if he is given funds its gonna be very hard to get quality players in, most clubs wont let their best players go half way throu the season. maybe players who dont figure in there managers plans or have fell out .

David Albelda Aliqués (born September 1, 1977, Alzira, Spain) is a Spanish football player. Albelda was the captain of Valencia CF. He has also played for Spain and won a silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He also played in 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship. Albelda has also been part of the Spanish squad in the 2002 FIFA World Cup and 2006 FIFA World Cup. Albelda is a defensive midfielder who started his career as a centre-back. He is best known for his leadership skills. He was the captain of Valencia since the departure of Gaizka Mendieta. With a solid and robust frame, Albelda makes his presence felt in the middle of the pitch. With Valencia and Spain, Albelda plays a holding role, trying to contain the attacking midfielders of the opposition. He also moves forward regularly, especially during set pieces and is a key figure in Valencia's counter attack, with much depending on him because of his ability to lead from the front and influence teammates. Reports on 20th December 2007 emerged that Albelda, along with Santiago Canizares had been axed from the Valencia squad with the former still undecided on his future move. Whether Valencia will let him go on a free or a cheap transfer is yet unknown. He has been linked with a ₤4 million transfer to Everton and also has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the transfer window. sounds canny but all depends on big sams plans with faye and who plays that def midfield holding role ,then again are we really after him ?

anal was never a supporter of fat sam in the past before he ever came here so it goes without saying the club will not be as forthcoming with information ,bit of a siege mentality atm so the local press will rightly or wrongly be left out on the news and player interview front as anal mentioned last week i remember him saying hardly any players talk to the paper now .
-
imho i hope there is something written in his contract so we can git rid of him with no extra cost then his transfer fee ,what a disaster its been but it has worked with other players in the past but this lads bad to the bone .
-
not bad but we cannot make a judgement on the lad as hes played so little for us and never played a string of games which i beleive is really bad by fat sam as he cost 6 million .
-
we do have a left back who cost us 6 million but the gaffer doesnt play him which astounds us all
