I tell you what,some of you geordies are mental - fans like you (and I'm not tarring all newcastle fans with the same brush btw) know virtually f*** all about football and quite frankly don't deserve world class players in your team. totally agree with you to many jumping on the band wagon for my liking we need a midfield to create something or we will not make the best use of him

I think he knows the importance of the game being an ex sunderland player himself but if gets this wrong he will get a shock especially with liverpool as the next home game and i for one will get onhis case if it goes tits up in these too games .

A long winter of discontent if we get beat off Sunderland ,our football is dis-jointed ,the team is different every week (unforced mostly).Our manager blames everyone but himself for our displays ,we are pretty awful to watch with hardly any service to our front men . This season promised so much with the clean out from top to bottom but all i feel is deflated with little confidence in what i beleive is a manager who hasnt got a fookin clue .

He is a liability atm would have taken him off and put martins on for him .

If your a good centre half it does not make a difference who you are playing against ,imho you adapt so that you get the upper hand and out muscle them .

Good point about our home form so i guess the crowd are still with the team which is understandable but if we keep this losing streak away from home going it will put a lot of pressure to keep our results at sjp up to scratch.If our home form slips it will be a winter of discontent .

FFS he admits to playing for a point against a team being rogered by nearly all who play against them .pityful really how can we pect to be taken seriously in the prem with an attitude like ours playing cautious football looking for a point when we have shown that attacking teams wth positive play we can turn them over .will fat sam learn from this i do not know but win home lose away will be the norm if we do not change our tactics and play to our capabilties.

After all the massive changes everywhere i am happy to see a winning team rather then a team struggling to get things write and at the wrong end of the table ,all we need to do now is start winning away from home and confidence will grow and players will express themselves more .Rome was not built in a day s in answer to the question about boring football i dont really care at the minute ,its a winning team mentality we need and the rest will come no doubt
