Exactly interpolic. I don't believe he will leave this year but people are really setting themselves up for the fall.
-
Looks like Ba won't be on Spurs menu. Fully expect Liverpool to try for him though.
-
Bullocks. He'll never leave for a team where he's behind Riebery and Robben in the pecking order, even if Bayern offers him a bigger salary and CL-football. FFS man Punk, LIKE Bayern, not them specifically. It seems we are ignorant as ever about losing our better players. I don't want Ben Arfa to leave but don't pretend like there is some special bond between him and the club.
-
No he's not, he's the same as every other footballer. Give him a good offer from a Champions League club like Bayern or Milan and he is just as liable to move as anyone else. When will we learn our lesson about the difference between what players say and what they do? I like Ben Arfa as a footballer and he's clearly a likeable guy but don't kid yourself.

I honestly don't see what a new manager can do for them. Yes they can challenge to get into the champions league again but isn't that what Harry was already doing? The next step beyond that involves massive fees, huge wages and top market players. How can any new manager achieve more than that?

I imagine Spurs will want a "name" to replace Redknapp. AVB perhaps, wouldn't rule out Capello.
-
I think the willingness of the club to sign him, will be more of a pull than his mate wanting him here. Sure the likes of Inter coming in would be a massive draw for him but perhaps a "last minute changes of heart", will be something he won't be up for (if he fancies coming here). Having Cabaye out there, certainly isn't a bad thing though.

Can't see them paying 8m for him. Doubt we will even put another bid in, if that's how much they want.

Jamie Carragher is embarrassing. Tearing into Hodgson at every opportunity. Thought England did well.
-
"fuck off you shower of piss".
-
Doubt we will go with two up front. Young or Milner will be sitting behind Welbeck.

I wish people like you would fuck right off. Sorry. Couldn't agree more. I have a beautiful girlfriend, but personally i would love to see here with Brad Pitt. What a wank loser attitude! (Beautiful in my mind, also i do not have a girlfriend, was used as a metaphor ) Reminds me of my mate shagging this (very fat) lass who had a boyfriend. The boyfriend turned up in our local and pulled my mate to the side, we all thought it was about to kick off. Then five minutes later my mate came back and told us that the boyfriend had apoligised for the actions of his lass and told him that he could do better. Fuck sake, have some pride man.

Otter, to answer your question on the previous page. People did the same about Enrique last year, honoured? FFS

Seems to be the general feeling at the moment, "well if Chelsea can do it". Never thought i'd see the day when England where using Chelsea as the fucking yardstick.

It was always going to happen though, none of us ever really believed we could support the frogs? Still hope Cabs and Benny come out of it looking good.

A bit harsh comparing Enrique to HBA. Besides the obvious difference in talent and intelligence, HBA has been in the media for the wrong reasons in France, which you could not say about Enrique before his twitter-gate. It could be possible that HBA is a different person now compared to pre-NUFC. I think his injury really opened his eyes. It was a potential career ender, and to just write that off and say that he'll move if given the opportunity really ignores the complexity of human nature. Enrique never had the same adaption problems as HBA, neither has he had his calf cut in two. The way the club followed him up after the injury didn't hurt either. If he moves, he'll do it because the move will make him a better footballer. He'll not go to a 4th placed Chelsea because they give him stupid money. You are incredibly confident that Ben Arfa won't leave should a richer club, playing in the champions league come in for him. My point is that alot of people said the same thing about Enrique. Don't believe what you see/hear/read. If he stays here for five years, i will be shocked.

Ok, well after all the hatred of the England football team, i'm now ready to become the most patriotic arsehole you have ever met. Lets thrash the frogs.

I don't know if it makes us a selling club, which is a phrase used by journalists and Sky morons, but i do believe should a sizable offer come in for any of our players we are liable to sell. I'm not saying that is wrong, it may well be for the good of the club but we should always brace ourselves for interest from richer clubs. When we hear rumours of enquires and scouting for players like Anita, i presume it's the club giving themselves an option in the event that we do decide to sell. If we are looking to add Anita to the squad because we need a bigger an better squad next year, i will be very impressed, as it shows considerable ambition.

On the other hand, if we do sell Tiote, we won't have spend the rest of the summer wondering if we will replace him. Its not that I want to be negative, just that I see it as the most likely outcome. Both Man Utd and Chelsea have been linked to him, the signs aren't good.
-
I don't really see why he has to be anyones direct replacment. That would be assuming we have balanced numbers in the squad in this first place. Players come and go, there not always related to one another. However if we do sign this lad, I would have to question Tiotes future.

Liverpools attitude, will be Liverpools demise.

Apparently his dads a part of a gang family in Manchester.
