Can't believe some of the reports saying that Amanda/PCP did not have the money to buy the club. I thought you had to show that funds were in place before due diligence began. I agree with earlier views i.e Ashley is not bothered about selling it because it supports his Sports Direct but he would accept a crazy (high) offer

Rafa knows we can't score that's why he sets us up the way he does, trying to ensure a clean sheet and hopefully nick a goal. Terrible really but that is all he's got to work with. I think he needs to walk into Ashleys office and say 'Money now or I'm off' All he's doing is working his nuts off to try and keep us up with a lot of Championship standard players.

If something positive doesn't happen soon I can see Rafa walking and I wouldn't blame him. The non action by Ashley is an insult to the integrity of a man like Rafa. Ashley would let him walk and bring in Hughes or some other serial failure

I think Ashley is evil enough to let the club tumble back into the Championship. I can just imagine him saying 'I'll show these stupid fans who runs the show here' I wouldn't put it past him to pull out what he is owed and let the club fold rather than sell the club to someone who might make a big success out of it

Last season his 50/50 log passes were awesome and we miss that. Problem is that at this level his long passes would be 25/75 which means giving the ball away a lot more and of course you are more likely to get punished at this level. Rafa likes the possession game and doesn't like giving the ball away. Look what happened yesterday with Merino, one sloppy pass and the opposition score from it. I personally think that it's worth playing Shelvey because of his quality in passing and you just need to accept that everything he tries won't come off.
