  1. Just waiting for him to break down in training
  2. I am 75, my brother 83 and we both feel the same after supporting the club since we were kids. Our football team was in our blood and never far away from our thoughts. Rafa gave us hope and inspiration but Ashley destroyed that like he has done with everything NUFC related. Spoke to my brother yesterday and we were both saying that we have lost interest in football, not just Newcastle, and don't bother to watch games anymore. Ashley has destroyed the club and also a big chunk of peoples lives.
  3. After over 65 years of supporting the team I have now lost all enthusiasm and inspiration. I didn't even bother to watch the Liverpool game. All I want is for us to get battered to emphasize the destruction inflicted by Ashley. Sad I know but that is how I feel
  4. Whatever Ashley does it is guaranteed that it won't have been done for the benefit of NUFC. No need to try and look deeper into reasons why
  5. 1-1 but in reality it's a win because they are good lads and happy
  6. Saturday was the second sitter he's missed and not even close. Would much prefer Yedlin when fit or Manquillo
  7. Ineos were never interested. They were asked if they would be interested but they said no
  8. His performances for Leicester so far have been described as underwhelming
  9. Be Bolton next. You would have hope that Big Sam would have stepped in to help his own managerless club as it was them who launched his career as a player and manager
  10. Brucie said he will play his strongest team and go for it. Surely he wouldn't contradict himself?????
  11. Respect is earned not demanded. He seems to miss the point that the negativity among the fans has little to do with his first games in charge it's because of his record as a premiership manager
  12. In the set up we played yesterday Shelvey just doesn't fit. Will go to a Champo club in January
  13. Got to give credit to the players, I reckon Almiron must have covered 20 miles. I think that during the week the players had a meeting with Bruce and said 'Look, your systems don't work, they are 20 years out of date, you don't know what your doing...........But you are a really nice bloke and a Geordie so let us go out and play the Rafa way using his trusted formation'
  14. Europe here we come. What a difference it makes to have Geordie manager
  15. Can't believe Erikson is on the bench, he is by far their best player
  16. Looks like it. Hayden and Longstaff to dominate the midfield. It's the front 3 that will make or break it. See if they can link up
  17. Rock bottom at the moment
  18. If Norwich beat Chelsea today, and they might, Bruce will be telling us what a strong team Norwich are and it's no disgrace to lose against them etc etc etc
  19. He might surprise Ponch and outsmart him tactically and we come away with 3 points after hammering them
  20. I think Dubs is seriously pissed off. Doesn't look to me like he's enjoying it anymore
  21. Winning automatic promotion from the championship becomes more difficult each year. Each year you could pick the promotion candidates fairly easy, any 2 from 5. Now it's any 2 from 10 . The quality of the relegated teams is so much higher and they come down with money to spare. The crap managers like Fat Sam, Hughes, Pardew , Pullis etc are being overlooked more and more in favour of younger coaches. I doubt Bruce could do it now against the managerial opposition out there which was proved at Villa where he had the most expensive team in the championship. I'm sure he is a nice guy but sadly he's thick and has no tactical nous whatsover and todays players soon see through that
  22. Jack Charlton was driven out by the fans and he is a geordie so Bruce will not be protected
  23. Mark Hughes turned it down before Bruce. It would have to be Pardew or some complete unknown from Outer Mongolia or somewhere

    Joelinton

Ashley does all of the things he does purely to spite the fans. As long as it doesn't cost him money, and it doesn't, and he can get his free advertising, which he does, he will continue the way he is. Relegation won't hurt him either because we'll still have 50k attending games and be up there with the most televised teams. He is an evil spiteful man who's only interest is money. He has no interest in building respected successful companies, he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, he has no respect for anything or anyone. The only way we will be rid of him will be if he has a heart attack or something. Even if his SD went to the wall he can still have a very nice living from NUFC. He'd be able to sell the advertising for £10 million plus so he is in a win win situation. The only way he will sell is if it's for a ridiculous high price because he could then feel he'd ripped somebody off and that would appeal to him
  25. At the moment I think I'd prefer Muto upfront. At least he's got some movement. I think we'll get hammered football wise but lose by a couple of goals allowing Bruce to tell us how well the lads played and what a good bunch they are
