When Keegan was here, training was open to all and 3000 + turned up to watch. Can't see the problem
-
Rafa would be better off posting his 'list' to Greenland
-
Really surprised Spurs haven't stepped in to take this striker as cover fr Kayne

You pay money for Sky Sports which goes to Ashley, how do you stop that?
-
I get the impression that his feet and his head are made of sponge. Nothing comes off him with any venom plus he scuffs any shooting chances he gets
-
I think he just looks slow compared to Joselu
-
Knowing that you have no chance of winning the cup, why risk players who we really can't do without. Can you imagine what would happen if Joselu picked up a bad injury and we lost him for the rest of the season.........
-
Thought he did a great job at Huddersfield but the gap between the top 6, middle 8 and bottom 6 grows forever wider. It's almost like 3 leagues. He got more money to spend than Rafa (but then who didn't) but not enough that was needed to buy the sort of quality needed to bridge the gap
-
looked good yesterday. It's always easier to play with good players around you so once Mike brings in our new signings he'll look even better
-
We should consolidate our league position tomorrow

I fancy it's not just about the asking price, it's all of Ashleys SD add ons plus 'Oh by the way the club owes me this and owes me that so you have to pay me that as well' Then the investment needed in the squad and the training facilities and stadium . All just to just to give us some stability and dig us out of the hole that Ashley has put us in and it adds up to a huge investment.

Thought we'd received a big offer for him

I have been a supporter since my dad first took me to a game in 1954. There have been hugely disappointing and frustrating periods during those years but they can't be compared to what is happening at the club now. For what it's worth the current scenario has gutted me more than at any other time. I don't believe any protests or boycotts will make one jot of difference to Ashley. He is here for as long as he wants to be and the only thing that would force his hand would be the collapse of SD and the rest of his empire. I won't buy anything that I think comes through one of his companies but all that does is give me a little personal satisfaction. Mike Ashley doesn't think 'Bloody hell, Jims not coming into my shop anymore' Sadly we are lumbered with this guy until he, and only he, decides otherwise
-
Same old names come forward, Moyes, Allardyce......................how do these people keep getting jobs, they've proved time and again that they are useless but keep on picking up big pay offs
-
It really annoys me when I hear about the interest free loans that Ashley has made to the club and will of course need to be repaid to any future owners. If Ashley had paid for all of the advertising he gets (income that all other clubs enjoy) then we wouldn't have needed any loans. Imagine what that amount of SD exposure would cost if he had to buy it. This is why so long as the club survives on the bare minimum then he is in a win win situation
-
Last couple of streams I've watched you can hear the coaches yelling (above the volume of the commentary) none stop at the players and that includes Rafa. Maybe they have there mics positioned different to Sky
-
On yesterdays display he should be shipped out, along with Manquillo, Murphy and Joselu and that's only for starters.

I've got blisters on my fingers with keep checking in on this site to see if there is anything happening transfers/ sale of club just anything. Really I should know better because like in the past, sod all will happen or certainly nothing positive. HTT was bang on when he said that the club no longer has supporters, it has customers.
-
He's a lot safer than Walker at Man City
-
Fulham want a swap with Cairny
-
It''l be Steve Bruce next, a geordie to appease the followers and what a disaster that will be. The guy is out of his depth in the Championship let alone the Prem. When he fails Ashley will say that he was the fans choice

Been supporting this club for over 65 years now and seen a few highs and lows but the current situation is without doubt the worst and most frustrating period ever. It makes it worse knowing what we could be, we have a top manager, lots of money coming in because we are in what has been described as the best league in the world. But we also have Ashley. A none football man who is a successful barrow boy. Noting seems to be planned or structured, he just does everything off the cuff seeking to squeeze every drop for himself. As a football club we have been left behind from the progression of the premier league and it's the price we are paying for 11 years of zero investment. The only way is for NOBODY to go to matches or spend money to feed Sports Direct but we know that will never happen. I know how difficult it is for fans to give up the love of their life in NUFC. I can't get to games now (was there for the Fairs Cup and followed them all around the country in the year we lost to Liverpool in the FA cup) but I still watch every game online or on TV because I can't not do it. It's in the blood and a lot of people could never understand how it feels. I just despair

That save from Shaquari's free kick yesterday was world class

I thought we played well for the first hour. Good news is another week or so and our new signings will arrive

Dreading this, don't think I'll be brave enough to watch it
