So Suarez is banned from all football related activity for 4 months A transfer is a football related activity, and would invovle meeting with football officials So is Suarez therefore banned from transfer related activity for 4 months and therefore stuck at Liverpool until January?

Prety sure I saw a another stat on Messi - losing the ball more than any other player in the Argentina/Bosnia game. Would love to see Pardew justify not playing Messi due to lack of keeping the ball

Page 63 and he signs for someone else then

The long ball to Anita tactic. What could possibly go wrong

Tim Krul (now playing for Luton Town)
Colos Short and Curlies replied to Wallace's topic in Football
So for those who see him live week in and week out..... £7m in for Krul and £5m to bring back Forster - good deal or not? Seemed to be little in it before FF went up North on loan and Krul appears from dodgy streams to have at best stagnated over the past 2 years -
Its just a lesson in how to push up the price of English players further. What they should do is ban loans for players over the age of 21 and ban inter league loans. The upshot of this is more young English players getting regular football outside of the big 4, rather than sitting in their reserves or being farmed out on loan every season and by reducing the demand for players (if you can't loan them out and have a maximum squad size then you wont buy (or players wont join) you ultimately reduce their price, making them more attractive to more premier league teams (if they are good enough of course)

Anyone defending Pardew on the basis that his hands are tied just ask yourself this question: All other things being equal squad wise, if Martinez and Pardew were in each others jobs (or Pardew and Pocchatino for that matter) would Newcastle be higher or lower than Everton (or Southampton). The answer to this tells you that Pardew is shit and must go #Team Hatem

One thing I don't get is why its Sports Direct plastered around the ground for 90% of the time/available space. Everyone knows that if you want a pair of trainers you got to the Emporium of tat, so why not vary it up a bit and advertise his in store brands. Off the top of my head.... Kangol, Karrimor, Lonsdale, Firetrap, Dunlop, Slazenger - are all owned by MA or Sports direct - why not promote these brands rather than the roof they are sold under? It wouldn't have a single piece of impact on the finances of NUFC, but at least the stadium would show some variety, and you would think also drive benefits to our esteemed owner

I think I'm ok with this - no footage but the best reaction I've heard/seen for anything (well apart from Stelling when P45due headbutted Myler) What happened to this guy though
-
It woudl be class if the walkout happened, but rather than going stright out everyone goes past the dugout, throws their season ticket/programme/whatever down in fron of P45due and then walked to the nearest exit. No violence, no libel, just a very visible statement - and of course this is more likely to attract people who aren't aware of the protest idea

Winning mentality, or more accurately a little bit of a winning mentality. No Alan, you have zero winning mentality

Mentioned it a couple of months back, people should get mandmsport.co.uk, or DW Sport t-shirts and banners printed - advertise a direct rival

'Unofficial press conferences' may make an appearance this week -
Top 4 isn't out of our reach - put the right management in place and widen the scouting net slightly further than France. Every couple of years one or two of the 'big' 5/usual suspects have a less than stellar season and an unlikely candidate challenges for top 4 - usually they fall just short or fail to capitalise if they do get in. We haven't got the first bit in place though, so no chance for us atm
-
I assume the next step is for HBA to get a fine for his comments? As soon as that happens we need to bombard the papers with the quotes P45due has come out with against HBA, probably wont achieve much but at least we can show the hyprocrisy running through the club

Hoddle as head coach would be a good appointment, thats his strength - not the transfer market. It might actually just work

A chap having a go at Ashley on Talksport this morning, saying he thought he was a good businessman. Now I'm sure he meant to say he had a bit of nounce about him, but it was either a brilliant drop of the u or an unfortunate mispronunciation, because thats not exactly what came out of his mouth

Had another 3 on after 6.30, all 3 team hatem and a shout out for Sylvain. Shame nobody ever pulls the mullins and harewood over tevez and mascherano card.

Lost the one that counts!

9 points clear with 3 games to go. Biggest bottle job ever? (appearently games in hand don't count when talking about points gaps like this, or at least they didn't in 96)
