You'd probably need to suck up a threesome with the son though

in the real world the purchase goes on your balance sheet and then when you sell you first remove the asset and then take the profit through the P&L just like player sales. so buying and selling land would only generate a profit if you bought it for less than you sold it. fuck knows how ffp deals with it, I’d guess that the hotel Chelsea have sold has been owned for a while so was likely on the balance sheet at quite a low value compared to the sales price, regardless of any fmv shenanigans -
There’s a good chance that we will be 4 behind Spurs before they play again with 2 absolute stinkers for them in a row. that would really put some pressure on them. If can see it only being one win that separates us at the end of the season

Let’s be honest here. If we challenge for the league or wear that top in a cup final it’s going to be looked back on as a great kit. if we finish 10th it’s going to be the worst kit ever
-
We need 2 money signings, a keeper and a centre forward. We might be able to get away from a freebie at the back and go with Schar/Burn/Newbie until Botman is back
-
So it’s Andy Cole’s record of scoring in 8 consecutive home games he’s aiming at, equalling Sir Les yesterday. but shearer scored in his first 15 home games, that’s just insane and probably will never be beat

We’re going to end up 2 points short aren’t we

nope. the ticket money will be in next years accounts regardless on when money is paid. in simple terms you recognise income when it is earned (or when the games are played) and not when the cash is received. -
Most minutes of any outfield player from the prem (including internationals) this season

If they stay up (likely) then I see Wilson going to Bournemouth with Solanke leaving

If this is the season where we finally finish above ManU then the world will officially have gone nuts

You haven't got the FFP bit quite right. Lets ignore wages and make it easy with a £100m sale for a player with no book value left you create a one off profit of £100m. If you gave everyone a 5 year contract you could spend £500m and the in year cost would balance against the sale profit but this is for one year only, you've really got to use that as a catalyst for future income growth or you will be left in year 2 with a cumulative £100m loss problem which then goes to £200m in year 3, £300m in year 4 and 5 as the sale drops out. (All that assumes you start at nil profit or loss and breakeven before this spend each year) Spending anything over what you generate creates a risk so you need to spend it wisely

they’ve got the Barnes and Maddison sales in this year and you’d hope some relegation clauses in there, but they did also spend £40ish in the summer as well. do they have anyone who will bring in decent coin this summer? -

Put FFP to one side that statement basically means the auditors can not give any assurance that the club has the finance, or access to finance, that enables it to fund its obligations for 12 months. or in football speak there are no guarantees that they can fulfil their fixtures. the Premier League should be looking at that and deciding if that is a risk they are happy to carry -
or the virgin money/HBA away kit?

That kit will look lush when worn

Jill Scott just sounds like a proud Mum or Aunty talking about Mainoo

I’m sure I read that the rules were that it was the highest placed club that stays in. So ineos wouldn’t have a say if Nice qualified in 5th and ManU in 6th.

i really don’t think that’s a problem in Europa or Conference leagues. we should use it as an opportunity to give some of the u21s match day experience and even a few of them 20 mins here and there. more benefit to that than playing Longstaff for 90 every game, got to see if they have it in them or not
