I'd keep him and bring in Shearer over pre season to work with him on shooting. It's going to cost big money to get better and we need surgery in too many areas to not look at where existing players can improve and then seek solutions to aid that

Stick a dominant defensive midfielder in and I think we would have less need to invest on centrebacks. The left side needs work and money spent on it as do the number 10 and striker positions - I like Gayle but he needs competition. Goals keep you up and we know that Raf will have a well organised team that wont be dominated in many games - especially outside the top 4 teams. I'd be tempted to loan Mitro to a German team if we can get a good replacement. Give him a season in a decent league to see how he develops.

I dont know about that. I see it as we had 2 injured keepers on the books and Krul was the one who we could loan out for a year more easily to get the wages off the books. It also gave him the opportunity for game time - somethng which Elliott has not had with him staying.
