You can't keep moving the taget until you get the response you are after - if the answer had been 4 (for example) would you then be looking for 'ah but how many of them were wins by more than 3 goals in the end?' Fact is we have been shite when behind this season, fact is also that over the past couple of weeks we have shown more fight in salvaging something where in previous games we haven't. Surely this would give rise to a little more positivity that if we were to go one down tonight we would have something in our locker to rescue a point? (which wouldn't be the worst result in the world anyway...)

Would scrapping the league cup improve the FA cup? I also think no replays in the FA cup would be good, I get the argument on replays generating money for smaller clubs but if nothing changes it won't be long before there is minimal financial benefit from the cup at all
