  1. 5 Live ripping into Nemo's performance 'the crowd have got to him' 'he's better than this tonight' etc etc
  2. 3 goals scored against West Ham, Eveton and the Maris Pipers. Not a bad return agaisnt those three really
  3. I don't think he particularly does want to be playing in Liverpool though. He only stayed a couple of years ago (when he pulled out of the Chelsea deal at the last moment) because a gangster (who was slipping his misses one incidently) threatened to 'cap his family if he left (note this can not be substantiated (by myself anyway), but was seemingly common knowledge around Liverpool at the time (I was living/working there and worked with some bloke who used to work at Anfield and claimed to be ITK). Feel free to delete mods if you want, just what I have heard from many different sources.
  4. Has anyone else read the Sam quotes on .com about the booing? He seems to be in agreeance that they were aimed at him for taking Martins off. Hopefully the cheer both will get when their names are read out tonight will show the southern media what we really think of Little EMO
  5. I'm actually a bit ITK-ish for tonight's game. I'm fairly sure that we'll see Barton on the bench. I know, hardly a revelation, but i've heard that from an independent source. Orange bibs?
  6. Can someone please change the Spurs boys avatars to that Berbatov/Toon shirt pic just for the day?
  7. One of the Appleby brothers (think it was Ritchie) was playing down here for Llanelli AFC in the Welsh Premier last season. Not on the playing squad this year though
  8. Its on the telly. Don't have stetanta unfortunately
  9. A question about radio coverage if I may.... Does the Newcastle World Internet-exclusive agreement affect radio 5 online cmmentary? AM coverage dips out after dark where I live and the only DAB I have is in my car! Hoping to get it on t'internet if possible, otherwise its 'America's Next Top Model' with the misses and teletext!
  10. And the fact we've won our last 4 against them
  11. No because we are in the UK where the currency is pounds sterling. Besides which the dollars value is dropping like a tarts knickers these days so all those estimates of wealth are undoubtedly wrong. The internatioanl currency remains the dollar, so it makes sense to compare peoples wealth in dollars. And if it bothers you so much, just divide it by 2
  12. Would be better id Derby weren't in there. Don't particularly like them, just got nothing against them..... unlike the other 4!
  13. Finally! O2, like it! Should also mean a start for Emre, need someone who is comfortable at playing the ball on the deck.
  14. No. That would be Arsenal. Along with Manu - both 100% records in the last 4 games
  15. Pretty sure that the Beckham story was in the Daily Mail to being with (another fine bastian of journalism!)
  16. I wonder if the ratio of 'negative' toon stories v 'positive' toon stories increases in the weeks leading up to a game against one of the larger London clubs or ManU? It does seemt to be that these stories come out at convenient times!
  17. Dear me, no offence mate but some of the rumours and 'inside info' I hear from Spurs fans have to go down as the most fantastical jackanory peices of bull I've ever heard. I mean its not enough to rumour that Mike Ashley (who has just paid £133 for a Football club, paid off £80 million of debt, and turns up to every game in a Newcastle top) is going to just up and sell within months in order to try to buy Tottenham... Oh no, he's going to team up with 3 other billionaires to do it. Because Spurs are too good for one man with a $4 billion personal fortune, they need three billionaires to fullfill there massive potential Just about no chance of that happening?, try no chance what so ever of even any part of that happening.. The financial report won't include all of the £28.5 million you spent on summer transfers, not even most of it. As with most transfers some money will be paid up front for players with the majority of the rest of the fee being paid bit by bit over the following year/s. Also I don't know how you get this £50 million figure from.. The 'inside info' I gave was that Kemsley was going, which he has, and that Spurs would post record figures in their Accounts, which they did. The rumour going about that I mentioned, that Kemsley would leave and team up with others, was as I said, just a rmour. I did also say that I thought the chance of it actually happening was just about nil. I still think that even though some of the press are now coming out with the story. FWIW Kemsley does know how much cash Levy wants to sell up and it is beyond PK's means even though he is seriously wealthy. I doubt whether Ashley is a Spurs fan as the press are saying (he's been to WHL on numerous occasions with Kemsley), Green and Caring are businessmen before fans. When Levy does sell up, I believe it will be to either a Russian or a Far Eastern consortium, both of which have been on the horizon for quite a while. True, the financial report doesn't include all that was spent in the summer window, but it doesn't include all of the increased television revenue from the new deal either. Spurs have had over £50m available for the past 2 windows, although not all was spent either time. My understanding is that the same scenario exists for the forthcoming window. Ok that last sentance seals the deal, MJ is infact Anal Oliver in disguise!
  18. Am I wrong, or did Ashley not buy 100% of the club? Not just a controlling interest?
  19. I actually like your line up and was going to have a very similar one except for maybe Geremi in the middle instead of Butt and have Martins on the right wing and Viduka up front with Owen I thought about putting Martins on the right too, but i'd be worried that he would not provide enough defensive cover and that Bale, who has looked very dangerous this season, would have a free run on Beye. With Geremi you know he is going to put in a good defensive shift, and he can't be much worse than Milner going forward. We're at home, put their left side under pressure by playing Martins there. Rather Bale having to track back than us play a containing wide right man which will allow him to push on our fullback
  20. fuckin hell - he looks, dare i say, happy ? He got his own back on Keane, raped his dog this time
  21. Predicting a genuine Owen injury from the placcy pitch unfortunately - its asking for trouble playing out there if you ask me 4-3-3 for me in this one Given Beye - Cacapa - Roz/Faye - Jose Barton - Geremi - Emre Martins - Dukes/Smudge - Zog Subs Harper Roz/Faye Taylor Dukes/Smudge Milner Should beat this lot, for once the pressure is off us and we've got a nice little run against them going. 3-0
  22. Aye, I'd say so as well. Can't tackle for toffee though
