Do they just not need more "Home grown" players? They don't have many English players. Hart, Richards, Milner, Barry? Maybe Milner & Adam Johnson will leave as rumoured, and Barry will be taken out back and shot which is the only humane thing to do.

Ben Arfa, Cisse, Cabaye, Ba have been involved when it has been at it's best with Tiote and Jonas working hard behind them. We've essentially got Obertan & Shola instesd of Cisse & Ben Arfa and Ryan Taylor in centre midfield, it's no great surprise we're getting beat. Having said that, this is out first choice defence, but without seeing the goals who knows if it's their fault or not.
