Decky I started a thread of post match thoughts 10mins ago with 3-1 on it. Wild guess you must be joking? For Predict-A-Score in my school which I am first atm I am on top and the first thing I put down was 3-1. Shouldn't "Predict-A-Score" have a posher name at a private school? Not really. Do I detect a hint of maliciousness in that comment? Mate you've just gone to extreme lengths to try and prove you predicted a score first or some shite. Expect to have the piss ripped.

I hate this. I'm listening on 5 live and Russia have broke something so they're having to commentate down what appears to be a Flinstone phone because it's appauling.

Mclaren: Shit lads, we're behind. Stewart! You are the man to change this around. Good god.

Only 1 left, Croatia at home. Russia have to go to Israel and then host Andorra. Croatia have Macedonia and us.

vs Oldham, League Cup 96/97, first game after Shearer's first big injury for us. Was a crap game, won 1-0 thanks to a Beardsley penalty at the Gallowgate end, but I was in one of the SJH corners.

??? Walcott was shite and missed an absolute sitter (even gooner fans were having a go at him). Granted he did improve near the end though. Would you say he improved in, I don't know, say the last 20 minutes?

I'm sitting fairly happily in 6th, and yes it is up to date (unless that was some sort of cocky remark about the great weekend of points you're going to get and so you'll be in the top 20, in which case I apologise)

Pick someone to man mark Elano and things could work out. He really is the focal point of their team.

He isn't one of those "seen what those mongs on N-O are saying now...." despite spending plenty of time on here types is he? You could always ask me rather than him Jon? A fairly weak and juvenile attempt to find a friend in a debate tbh As it happens, there are some people who go to games and make informed decisions from seeing what happens in the build up, on and off the ball etc. Some don't but dream they have. That was the point of asking where these texters have seen his performance. A fair point I thought. I tend to make my own mind up rather than rely on the opinion of a commentator on radio or Andy Gray on telly etc. It's something you may wish to try sometime. This is handy to keep up with the score while i work though. Hope thats ok with you. Do you post on Skunkers? You're doing that smiley thing you do when you have nowt else to say Jon. No I don't post on skunkers. Really? You're as boring as one of them anyway. Especially as this is about people texting a radio station. Nice weather over there? Are you seriously picking a fight with him because he doesn't live in the North East? -

Their chances sound closer and more exciting for a reason. The commentators just said you couldnt bet on the winner at this point. Like you said earlier, you'd expect the home side to create more. I'm just thankful we've actually had a few chances away at a good club (regardless of their XI) it's a welcome relief from previous years.
