Excellent prep. They was tired.

Think this will be the Wednesday due to Spurs Europa League/Sunday Prem game combo the weekend before.
-
Fucking hell, what a night. Everybody in black and white pretty much to a man was outstanding. Inexplicable.
-
They were all on together against Palace and the crowd got over excited according to dickhead, so it'll never happen again
-
The more I think about it, why should Pardew get any credit for today? He told us playing in the Europa League was akin to having a leg cut off, so we should have won easily
-
Exactly, it's the wrong manager and probably the wrong club for him being here. He looked great last season when alongside Tiote and Cabaye. But he's not going to win games with a piece of "magic" so he's immediately useless to the king. He looked great? You must have low standards. Maybe great is pushing it but he was getting a lot of praise for his neat and tidy work

Really? I think it's the first time I can remember us kicking off and not just booting it into the stand

Mourinho never even seems to contemplate Ivanovic at centre half, sure Benitez had him there ahead of Terry. Mad old days.
-
Agreed though, sammy had their RB on toast. Was it dier? stream had no commentary and was in the pub watching It was Dier, it's a classic case of a centre half being shunted to right back and doing ok for a few games so he keeps his spot. In reality, he's a centre half at right back so it was only a matter of time before he was found out. I think Naughton and Walker are both injured though so they may not have had much choice

Zabaleta has noticeably declined in 2014, for whatever reason. He's only 29, thought he may have been a couple of years older than that. Maybe it's just a bad run of form
-
Be surprised if he doesn't get a new deal now. He's young and English and has proven a couple of times now he can be useful, Ashley's eyes will probably already see the pound signs.

Perez off Haidara on
-
I think that's key here, two likeable players have scored
-
I assume he wanted to go somewhere we he thought he'd play every week and score a few to get a place in the ACON squad this January.
-
Can't believe so many people are asking why it's not on yet, it's been publicised all week
-
Why is Tav taking Wigan's pens?
-
Bought in Aguero for Costa. My position at the top of the head to head is in jeopardy I feel
-
My mate keeps calling Harry Kane "The Wind" and it annoys me intensely
-
Don't forget player manager David James
-
2 of them were sat in front of us at the Hull game, turned up 30 minutes in and sat with hoods up and arms folded, miserable as fuck
-
Colback looked vaguely useful against City when he was chasing the ball a lot and there was no Tiote. In 95% of games there is no need for him, a total waste of a shirt
-
Why would he? He's a dream for Pardew's "style" of football
