You can;t. He had no control over anything except training, he left after 2 weeks in the top 10, the other 36 other games he wasn't responsible for. Yes you can. Cant see how you possibly can, him walking out because he couldnt change the system. They could of appointed someone permanent who WOULD work with the system instead of being conflict. They didnt he wasnt replaced all season, just temporary managers. A January where we made a profit in an effort to be debt free in a few years, despite a relegation battle. What a fucking joke of a club.

At least Ronaldo made some money today... under every cloud...

how on earth is it even possible for us to go down, we have one of the biggest wage structures in the Premier League players who are alot better than Hull, Stoke, Blackburn. Takes the utter utter piss, was in Europe not long ago. Thanks Mike, when we needed you to appoint a permanent manager you didn't. When we needed stability you completely ignored it. When the team needed to be strengthened in January you chose to weaken it and make a profit - as part of your plan to be debt-free.

It won't soften the blow in the slightest, and there'll be a piece of you fuming about the bet if we stay up. I don't know how people can bet against their own team, I did it once, never again. if we stay up I wont give a s**** about the money, i'll be too busy enjoying the best day of my life I have £12 on Chelsea, Gers, Celtic, Barca, Arsenal and Pool, return of about £185 £10 on all the above plus West Ham, and Blackburn for a return of about £650, cant be arsed to check that one and of course £300 for us to go down which will get me a return of £530 should it happen And the prize for the biggest mercenary b****** so far goes to Ronaldo! You're a f***ing disgrace, and don't give me that bollocks that "the money will soften the blow"!!! A true supporter of NUFC could never hope to profit from our relegation. We have all gathered from your posts you know f*** all about football and now you have expressed zero loyalty. Shameful. says the boy who thinks Owen is better than Van Persie conversion rate, which is true ..and dear me what a lousy attempt at a comeback

because the would the club would shrivel up and die with him running it?

They didn't, it was roughly 6 million. Fail. It wasnt solely Jews in the concentration camps think its actually in region of 1 million or two million that actually were. Thanks for setting my mind at rest, I would have been a mess today otherwise. your very welcome

Just in terms of name recognition/size of fanbase/cultural significance though, there has never been a club anywhere near the size of Newcastle United that has been relegated in the Premiership era. I'd actually find this situation kind of interesting if it wasn't affecting me directly. it just shows how bad the situation is that we find ourselves Man City, Notts Forrest are up there

I think its more the fact that these guys defended every single decision Ashley and co made so fiercely, always stating its for the best that 'this happens' or 'that happens' blah blah they would never admit to a bad decision. This thread has probably came about now as maybe some forum members just want to see if they have given up hope for him. Admit his tenure so far has been a disaster. It would almost be a good thing imo if they did, we would have a 'united' forum for a change even if came about for all the wrong reasons.

Probably just because we can.
-
I would use the same players but play 442 with Duff LB, Taylor RB, Nolan on the left too. I have a feeling 3-5-2 would get us killed.
-
Dalglish as well as buying some monumental s**** also left us with Solano, Dabizas, Given, Speed and Hamann. When we first signed Dabizas I was really impressed with him. We were all impressed with Coloccini. Well you would've been wrong not to be. He played well against Man U and Bolton. Chose not to judge him after two games, same with Jonas. But if someone asked your opinion after the first two games you would've said he's been good. average at best your joking right. Jonas to alot of pundits and media out there were saying his performance against Man Utd was probably the most impressive debut out of all the seasons new signings. So average at best, good one.

SUPPORT YOUR OWN f***ing CLUB, YOU SAD f***ing c***s! To be fair, us going down will be Sunderland's biggest achievement for the past three decades. It's their version of our beating Barca, twatting Man U 5-0, playing over 100 games in Europe. Liverpool have that night in Istanbul, if we go down the mackems will have that day at Stamford Bridge when the mags lost at Villa Park. Expect to see a gold star above the Sunderland badge on their shirts next season. The premier league logo on their sleeves would be sufficient to be honest.

He was right to be sacked imo, club performances had dropped off hugely for well over a season and the team was showing him alot of dissent. If it werent for the poor quality of the league that season we would have finished midtable, very lucky to get 5th with the points we gained. The only mistake was he shouldn't have started that season, and we had replaced him with someone ALOT better then what we did. that'll be the team containing Bowyer and Dyer that was 'showing a lot of dissent'? Thank f*** that got sorted out, obviously it was the correct decision to sack ~SBR and replace him with someone who would take no s***. Fans like you deserve to be watching coca cola footie next season. From that response you dont have a f***ing clue, everyone and i mean everyone on here wanted him to go the season before. If you are of the belief that the number of people wanting him to leave were actually in the minority, no helping you. Also, i wrote he should of been replaced with someone alot better, which you ignored. Your that deluded you deserve to be watching coca cola footie next season. If what you claim is correct then 'everyone and i mean everyone on here' deserves to be watching coca cola footie next year aswell. ..you obviously cant read.

Ye we are going to win the FA cup next year.
-
Er i bet they weren't his signings though.. Before the window even opened was only ever talking about loan signings, in positions we actually needed like a LB - which we didnt get and a young midfielder with legs on him
-
People think he is a good prospect with the potential to play for a much bigger team. We deluded for saying this? or are you knee-jerking like crazy here? Hardly like we are saying he definetly deserves a call-up to French national side is it, or we should erect a statue outside St James Park, we just say he is our player of the season by a mile. First season in Premiership, he hasn't even been as bad as you say in these 3-4 games so whatever mate.

Lovenkrands when he was on the pitch did next to nothing but get on the end of that cross, or was it me that only saw this? I actually was sitting there for what seemed like a long time trying to work out who we replaced Jonas with.
