  1. Not quite the same, but whenever people say Henry is a better goalscorer than Shearer because he has a better goalscoring ratio, I like to point out the Adam Le Fondre has a nearly identical goalscoring ratio as Henry.
  2. It was $30m. That's £20m. That's a drop of about £3m I think.
  3. Thanks for fuck all Reporters should be banned from Twitter. It's resulted in them needing to fill their timelines with absolute unneeded guff. Not blaming then directly as it's just the culture we're in now but fucking hell, what is any point in that tweet other than the masses are demanding information from someone who clearly has none? I don't think it's a load of guff, I think Edwards is just saying that the S*n and Mirror reports are crap, nothing has changed since before Christmas and no one knows anything different. Daft that it has to be said but so many fans have whipped themselves into a frenzy over those dubious reports he probably felt he had to quell the fire. People were asking him about the reports and he said he'd been away for a couple weeks and would check it out. This was his response. It was reasonable of him I think.
  4. But Ki himself has been quoted as saying "I don’t know when I come back if my place will be there". I am pretty sure their research is fine.
  5. That could be the biggest hurdle in all of this. If Kenyon's consortium or another investment group is buying a club as a business interest it has to make financial sense. If due diligence shows the club to be worth £100m less than Ashley is asking, due to the low value of playing staff, poor training facilities, stadium needing updating etc. that isn't a sound investment and a lower offer makes sense. Kenyon could hardly go back to his backers and recommend that they pay £300m for a club that is actually worth £200m. That could've been why Staveley walked away, maybe she was serious after all but pissed Ashley off because she proved he was overpricing the club. She wasn't serious. She was a big a player as Ashley. According to? Mike Ashley, and if we can't trust him, who can we trust?
  6. So technically Crumpy is dead on the money. That's some pure ITK right there.
  7. Bar Dubravka, Lascelles, Fernandez and Shelvey, we have a squad full of Champo level players, so he won't look out of place here. Lejeune? Schar? Ki? Rondon? Yedlin? Kenedy? Aye, some of them we should be looking to upgrade on but to dismiss them as Championship standard players is harsh imo. Schar looks like he has some potential. Rondon could do a job with a decent 10 behind him. The others - nah... You don't rate Lejeune? He was brilliant last season.
  8. When are people gonna realise that ä isn't an a? It's more like Chair than Schar. Thanks for Schar-ing.
  9. I think after True Faith broke ranks this was inevitable. I doubt people within TMG actually wanted to do this really.
  10. No he doesn’t Yeah, except that he does and there's a mountain of evidence to back that up. Keep up, man. What evidence please show me Look through every time there has been protesting. There has always been a response from Ashley, whether that is 3 or 4 supposed sales on separate occasions, or that one summer we actually spent significant sums of money. Even right now, since the protests have started we've seen him return to matches, meeting with the team, announce a club sale again. Do you think the consistent timing of these things are just chance?
  11. Is Hayden the secret buyer?
  12. tune ? Turning Japanese by the vapors surely. Yep. What else would it possibly be? We're turning Japanese, I think we're turning Japanese, 'Cos we've got Mutō, Was the summer of '69.
  13. Most likely Is the loan thing only Prem? Rondon isn't in the Prem either...
  14. Out: Mitro £22m Mbemba £6m Merino: £10m Sels: £4m Haidara, Gamez and the young'uns: Nowt Total £42m In: Schar: £3.5m Muto: £9m Ki and Kenedy: Bugger all, maybe a loan fee of a couple of mill Total £15m-ish is how I see it... Dubravka?
  15. Maguire went for 18m and most people think he's the better player. Was down to his last year of contract. edit: also Hull has been relegated.
  16. I think I read the parachute payment they'll receive next is only £7m, so that's not going to help much.
  17. Explain..... Well Colocinni was very good for three seasons straight. Yes he was poor by the end but that was due to age and personal problems. If you were busy saying he was rubbish in the earlier part of his time here, you were just plain wrong.
  18. Is that allowed? Yes. Didn't England score/concede from a corner in a qualifying game once? Didn't Ian Woan score from a corner for Forest against us?
  19. I thought the transfer window had already opened? It had to open very early this year due to it closing so much earlier.
  20. I think he just had one horrendously bad injury, then a follow up which was probably linked to still being a little weak after being out so long i guess. Or just bad luck. Hasn't had an injury this season I don't think.
  21. Because if our players continue to be ignored by England, it may cause them to start looking away from the club. Because we like our players and want them to achieve their goals of playing in the world cup. Because we would like to do well in the world cup and we think some of our players would improve the chances of doing well.
  22. He clearly moves off the line to early, but never seen a yellow be given for that before. Right decision to make the dutch kick it again. Maybe he'd done it a few times in the shootout and had been warned? Otherwise it seems crazy.
  23. The Quincy one seems quite promesing too.
  24. What proportion of starts? About half. To be fair, mostly out of position and I think with very few runs of starts.
