As for momentum, we just qualified for the Champions League, which we look set to progress out of the group stage of, and have just won our first trophy in decades. Villa are basically us, but one year behind us, even with their PSR issues. Even the run they're on right now is not dissimilar to the run we were on at the same time last season. Honestly, I'm half expecting Morgan Rogers to throw his toys out the pram to join Liverpool next summer.

I did a quick Twitter search for "solidarity payment" which is what I remember it being called and this is what I got: I also remember a tweet from a north east journalist saying that the hole £125m + £5m solidarity was nonsense from Liverpool's side and they paid us £130m. But I can't remember who and would have no idea how to search for that.

That's not true is it? Liverpool paid us £125m + £5m to cover the loyalty bonus. So Liverpool paid us £130m. That's certainly how it was reported by the likes of Ornstein and Romano.
