  1. If you only count starts he's a 1 in 2.
  2. There was a report they were going to be using the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.
  3. He has freedom of choice. So do the decision makers at any club who can decide that someone who is refusing the vaccine may be risking the health of teammates and may have a bit of a character flaw.
  4. Brighton were missing both their first choice centre halves and recently sold their backup to us. I think that's why things fell apart for them.
  5. Not rumours, it's literally in the official statement. Edit: although it's not to one female colleague but several.
  6. Has Shelvey been very good of late? He was good against Leeds but was tragic against Watford. Wasn't there a stat that he made 3 successful challenges in the entire 90 mins?
  7. Makes sense, because Bruno is fucking klass.
  8. They aren't a news source. They just share reports from elsewhere.
  9. I think it is really that 7 players in the matchday squad played in our side vs Villa in the Championship.
  10. I feel like we're trying to sign one top end centre back (Botman/Carlos) and one cheaper option (Diop/Phillips) with the players we're linked to. Would be sensible move. Too many of our centre backs aren't Prem quality but we're not likely to be able to afford two top end centre halves.
  11. Man City can prove the deal represents a fair market value because they have a history of expensive sponsorships. The fact that that history is based on inflated deals from related companies though is why this system is completely broken.
  12. Some random bloke on a Twitter thread earlier today reported pretty mcuh dead on this (the free + longstaff). Could there actually be a real ITK on Twitter?
  13. I think Craig Hope mentioned an interest.
  14. Not sure we have to win half our games. We're 3 points from safety.
  15. Yeah, it depends on the quality but three players could transform the side still. If Trippier is the full-back and the other two are of a similar quality then it'd improve us massively.
  16. So a centre-back, full-back and centre-mid minimum, but ideally also an attacking-mid and striker according to that article. Sounds about right probably.
  17. The follow up tweet says the previous deals is across the PL, not based on NUFCs previous deals alone.
  18. That also ignores amortisation, where the cost of the player is actually spread over the length of the players contract. So if we spent £50m on a player with a 5 year contract, that would only count as £10m for this year (but would obviously affect each subsequent year by £10m.
  19. Might be wrong but I though it was confirmed. Edit: definitely confirmed him and lascelles were off for a long time due to long covid and both had severe symptoms. Can't find confirmation of them in hospital though.
  20. Didn't Saint Maximin end up in hospital and was out for a long time due to it?
  21. Can't wait for Mikel Arteta to tell us he's been one of the most influential ceos of the last century.
  22. People also complained about Mike Ashleys treatment of workers but are happy about Saudi Arabia owning us. Let's be honest, the upset was about Mike Ashley more than about anything else. I don't think it's that hypocritical to not want Sports Direct Arena as the stadium name given it's a shitty brand, and shitty name, owned by a shitty owner that was paying nothing for it. Whereas this could be a means to an end, where due to fair play, if we want to start to challenge financially at the top we need to find ways of making more commercial income and this is one possible way. It's at least worth the discussion and I don't think makes a hypocrit of anyone.
  23. It also massively encourages piracy. Perhaps a better system to protect the pyramid would be to allow for saturday 3pm matches but ensure greater revenue sharing down the pyramid from what is earned.
