If we were going to pay for another striker, i'd be happy with Crouch because i like him and i think he'd work well with Martins. But he does suit the long-ball game, which is my only worry.

Would love to see us go for Lauren in the summer. He's been out for almost all of 2006, and has seriously lost his place in the side. There's Eboue and then there's also Justin Hoyte and Kerrea Gilbert. Lauren is just what we need. He's experienced and is hard as nails.

We're not desperate for a right-back. Nobby is excellent there, Taylor usually performs there and i've been encouraged by Huntington. Then there's Carr aswell. Babayaro and Ramage are both shite at left-back. We're desperate for one of them, not a right-back.

Martins is more of a playmaker than a natural goalscorer. Bent is a natural goalscorer. Which is one of the reasons why i think Bent and Martins would work together.
